SKETCHtember! Each day there will be a new sketch with a twist. Unless different points are listed in that challenge, then count points as follows:
*Create a project using the SKETCH: 2 points.
*Apply the twist to any project: 1 point.
*PLUS: Use the sketch AND the twist on one project: 5 bonus points. So a total of EIGHT points if you do both on one project!
Bonus: create a take on ALL of the SKETCHES, earn a bonus of 150 points.
Note: you have until Saturday, October 4th to earn your bonus for completing all the sketches."

PRODUCTS
P-1 September is brought to you by the letter S. Take a point for every product on your project that starts with the letter S. It could be a manufacturer's name (like Simple Stories), a product type (like staple)
P-2 ABC's - let's use our alphabet stickers and rub-ons 1pt 1 bonus point for mixing and matching different sets (size, font, or colour)
P-3 Pretty Patterns - 1 point for each piece of pattered paper used on project up to 10.
P-4 Spring Bouquet - Take one point for each different type of flower on your project.
P-5 Journal Cards - Use journal cards on your page
P-6 Scraps - 1pt for every different scrap you use on a project
P-7 Dots - enamal dots, round brads/eyelets, nuvo dots - 1pt for using at least 3 on a project
P-8 Use up the stuff! Use paper, stickers, anything that is not a multi-use product (ie nuvo drops, washi, and so on that can be used and multiple times before it's gone) and don't worry about saving it because it is pretty! 1-3 years = 1 point, 3-6 years = 2 points, over 6 years = 5 points!
P-9 Something old and Something New- Create a project using something new in your stash with something much older in your stash. 1 pt for each pair of old and new
P-10 Scrap the Collection- Create a product using items from just one collection. 5 points Bonus 5 points if its an older collection
P-11 Wood and Metal- Use both wood and metal on your project 1 point per pair
P-12 Ephemera packs - 1 point per item used out of a package of ephemera/die cuts
SHAPES/ICONS
S/I-1 Turning over a new LEAF. One point for every leaf on your project.
S/I-2 Not Quite Square - 1 point for every rectangle used on your project, include the photo, and the project itself
S/I-3 Flutter By - Use an something that flies on your project eg. bird, bee, butterfly (paper or embellishment)
S/I-4 Use hearts or stars on your project.
S/I-5 Tags and banners - 1 point for each tag on your layout; 1 point for each banner (not banner piece...)
S/I-6 - Christmas in September - 1 point per Christmas icon - so a santa = 1 point, an ornament = 1 point. Might be pre-fab ephemera or stamps or whatever. but pp does not count.
COLOURS/MOODBOARDS
C/M-1 Blue is the colour! September birth stone is saphire. Let's see blue anywhere on your project for a point.
C/M-2 Back in Black - 1 point for using black on your project
C/M-3 Spring Colours - Spring makes me think of blue skies, green grass and a yellow sun. Take a point for each of these colours used on your project, bonus 3 points if you use all three.
C/M-4 Metallic shine: Use a metallic colored product in your project like silver, gold, platinum, or even rose gold. It can even be foiled paper! One point for each type in your project.
C/M-5 Bring on the bling: Glitter, iridescent powders, glitter paper, Stickles, glitter washi, gems, or what ever! One point for each type in your project.
C/M-6 Opposites attract - pick opposites on the color wheel and use them as the primary colors on your layout. 5 points
C/M-7 It's just black and white with a hint of color - Do a layout that uses predominately black (and shades of like gray) and white. You can use one other color as accents. 10 points
C/M-8 Seasonal opposites. Create a seasonal project using colors which are the opposite than typical 5 points
C/M-9 Christmas in September (yes, I am trying to motivate myself to scrap some Christmas!) - use a Christmassy Red and Green on your layout
TECHNIQUES
T-1 Dies & Diecuts 5pts for using a new cut file or die (not used by you before) on a project, 1pt for each not-new die or cut-file (or subsequent use of the new one on a different project), and 2 bonus pts for leaf/pumpkin/apple diecuts.
T-2 Make an impression. 3 pts for using an embossing folder, 2 bonus points if you've never used that one before.
T-3 Use Your Tools - 1 point for each punch, template, circle cutter, xacto knife, decorative scissors etc. And 5 points for each fussy cut item used in your project.
T-5 Spring-kles - Sprinkle something on your project eg. little beads, glitter, tiny stars, paint, ink etc. 1 point for each different sprinkled embellishment.
T-6 Change the edges! Either ink or tear or distress an edge. One point for each technique.
T-7 Levelled up die cuts - layering die cuts adds great dimension - so 1 point for each die cut that has more than 1 layer to it - that would include 1 point per letter if you layered up a title.
T-8 - Stitched details - 1 point for die-cut stitch detail, pp with stitching, or pen stitching; 5 points for machine or hand stitching
WORDS/ Titles
W/T-1 Where in the world - 1 point if there is a place name in your title or sentiment
W/T-2 Circle Text - Write or type your journaling or title in a circle. Either inside a circle, on a round label or tag, or around the outside of a circle.
W/T-3 Tell a story - 1 pt for journalling, 5pts if it's 50 words or more
W/T-4 Mega Journal If you are real story teller 10 points for over 100 words.
W/T-5 Through Their Eyes- Journal from someone else's perspective OR have someone else journal for the page. 1 pt
W/T-6 Big Title- Make your title large and prominent on the page, whether its size is big or its length, let it take up space
W/T-7 journal on strips, 2 points
THEMES
Th-1 School is Cool. Create a page about school. Or use what you learned in a class to create something.
Th-2 Let's Get Spooky - 1 point for a Halloween Themed project
Th-3 Spring Forward / Fall Back - Do a layout about the change of season, or your favourite season, or your thoughts on daylight savings etc.
Th-4 The Great Outdoors - Take a point for every photo that was taken outdoors.
Th-5 Some of my favorite things - Do a layout about a person, place or thing that is a favorite. 5 points. Add 5 extra points if your layout includes a picture of you.
Th-6 - Christmas in September - 2 points for a Christmas layout, 1 point for a Christmas card
NUMBERS/SIZES:
N/S-1 Nine is fine. Include exactly NINE of something on your project for a point.
N/S-2 Go Mini - 5 point for each project measuring 3 x 4 or less
N/S-3 Cluster Up - Make a cluster using at least five different elements (mixed media counts as an element)
N/S-4 Go small on your photos. 1 point per photo that is smaller than 4" x 6".
N/S-5 Make 3 clusters of at least 3 items for 3 points
N/S-6 - Layer 3 torn edges for 3 points
RECIPES OTHER
O-1 Frozen - 10 points for every day that you stay frozen (adhesive and photo prints exempted)
O-2 Print 'em and paste 'em- One point for every photo you print this month. And a BONUS point if you actually SCRAP the photo you printed!
O-3 Find Them a Home - 1 point for every layout you put in an album for card makers 1 point for each card you send or ATC you trade or RAK
O-4 All together now-10 pts per hour scrapping with others. In person or online.
O-5 Stretch or Shrink those sketches! Make those sketches work for Skechtember! If it's a single page stretch it to a double pager--BUT all major elements should be represented. You can mirror the sketch as well. For the double pagers, do one side or the other OR squish it into single page. One point per page.
O-6 Open up your wallet - 1 point for every dollar spent
O-7 Current- Scrapbook an event that happened this month, create a card you are sending this month or a project of some other type for this month 1 pt
