Glad you got your creative weekend boymom5! Did they feed you while you were there? Do you actually get to take classes from Alison herself? Cool! There were the in person classes which were nice but not quite what I expected. It was more guiding how to complete a page with a few tips. I knew most of them since I watch too many YouTube videos but there were other ladies there who it was all new too. In the end I like the pages so I can’t complain! It was a nice retreat and the food was actually good! I’ve been to many before that werent. We each had 8 foot tables, there was a large well stocked store on site and it was fun! I went not knowing anyone and everyone there was so nice and inclusive. If you’re looking for a getaway, I felt the We Create retreat SG puts on is worth it. It was a bucket list item for me.

Those art pages are amazing MARIBETHR - the backgrounds, WOW! boymom5, that's how I feel about (expensive) project "classes" at my LSS. If you show me a picture, I can re-create. For the most part, I don't need help. OTOH, I *should* be watching Vicki Boutin's Friday night lives on YouTube because she plays with mixed media and that I do need constant help. They are so long tho, and I fall asleep too easily

kitbop- Exactly! I could have easily figured out the layout from the sketch and looking at what she did. I had hoped there was a bit more to the class than just getting the kit with instructions. In the end, I had fun and the kit vs class was the same price. I mainly took them since it was there for the experience and I couldn't figure out what paper she used to do the page. Both took me out of my normal work too so it was a push to do them. I counted up my pages from the crop and I have 32 completed page, 5 pages I started! Alison loves stitching and those are a few of the pages I've started and just need to finish the stitching on to complete. I'm going to unpack my things today since I haven't had the time to do that yet. We just right into school the next morning and we at full force. Today I've caught up on laundry and household chores. I'm ready for some creativity! Now to decide if I continue with my 2018 album I started at the crop or to do my 2021 PL album... MARIBETHR Those are fun cards! I'm terrible at card making and yours are inspiring me to try some out again.

MARIBETHR I really like the background paper of the "born to wander" card and the "wild wild west" card! I've been keeping up pretty well with the sketches! I do still have a stack of sketches printed out that I haven't been able to get to yet, but I am not too concerned about it. It is actually a little nice to have a backlog of sketches so that I can pair them together for double page spreads or think about what photos or supplies I want to use. I've been able to knock out so many photos so I am really happy about that. Now... .it doesn't even look like I made a dent in my supplies but that's another story!

Really need to touch base with all the Divas! I'm so glad someone here is doing well with the sketches, because I am NOT. I am glad I am at least responsible for 1 sketch/week, because that's technically 4 sketches I'll get done. I have only managed 2 others at this point.
I am finding that having things I'm SUPPOSED to be working on (sketchtember, an Alison Davis sketches class, wedding invitations for a friend) has taken AWAY my mojo... I complain when I have no direction, and I complain when I have too much!

MARIBETHR , @zingermack, boymom5 , schroema , ComplicatedLady , azcrafty, AussieMeg, jjpeapea, natscraps, scrappyrabbit, gmcwife1I'm popping in quickly before work to tell everyone that gramma is hosting VIRTUAL CROPS this weekend - she will post the links (it's a google meet) on the GS board and you can come scrap or craft or clean or chat with other peas by laptop or ipad or phone or whatever. We've had a lot of fun together - low key, lots of times when it's just silence and everyone is doing their own thing - but it's very motivating and keeps me in my seat when I'd otherwise wander off or get distracted. Friday night and Saturday night, 8-12 EST, 5-9 PST (but you can jump in or out at any time) Come say "hello"!

Glad I am not the only one missing mojo this month. I think I've done 7 sketches? It definitely helps being one of the contributors, but each week, I'm later and later to get started on it. September was a crazy month at work for me and crazy busy with kid activities in the evening so not much down time.

Hey Diva's I am so sorry to have let you down this month. With 10 days of camping (which I desperately needed) time to pack/unpack, and long work days there was just not much scrafty time for me. I will post my points tomorrow evening. It won't be many but I hope it helps to make us the winning team. I have had fun doing the sketches, just wished I had had enough time to complete them all.

Hey, MARIBETHR, don't apologize. This is really just for fun. I hope you soaked up the peace of your camping trip and can use it to restore your energy going forward. I had a busy month, too, what with garden harvest and child care, but I hope to get to the rest of the sketches in October. How are the rest of the Diva's doing? Is anyone on track to get them ALL done for the bonus? I have one more LO to post--for tomorrow's sample--and then I am done for the month. Completed 18 of the SKETCHtember challenges. Still have a LOT of points counting to do. I have the sketches printed and in a folder, and some of them are tucked into page kits I thought I might work with during the month, but I guess now I have some kits for October... So much inspiration in the Gallery and in the SKETCHtember challenge threads this month! I feel like I should be printing them all out, too...

I've completed 21 of the sketches this month, which is amazing for me! My goal was to complete 15, so I am totally happy with that. Plus there is still time to complete another one or two before tomorrow ends. I also stuck to my goal of a spending freeze this month, although I doubt anyone would be able to see a dent in my stash. grammadee I am just going to count easy-peasy, so that's 22 points for each page? I'm not sure if it's the same during sketchtember.

grammadee I am just going to count easy-peasy, so that's 22 points for each page? I'm not sure if it's the same during sketchtember. We had a discussion about this in the CARDtober planning thread, and I said I would make clear for October that no matter how you count points that you can ADD the special points on top of that. Hadn't said that for SKETCHtember, but thinking I should make that clear now. Not sure where, but I will tag September Team members. So if you met the twist on each challenge, you can add 8 points per page to your score. So now it would be 30 x 22 or 660. Another set of points we discussed in a thread earlier was that you can count a point for each photo for the Donna challenge each month. Not the page points, but the photo points. So count up all the photos you have scrapped this month on those 22 pages and add that total to your score.

but I hope to get to the rest of the sketches in October I think one of the "Other" point rule next month should be 5 points for each sketch in September you were unable to complete.

I need to count up points tonight but only finished 7 sketches. Between a trip, starting school and the many extra curriculars I haven’t had much time! I did get a bunch at my retreat though!

Shout out to ComplicatedLady, gmcwife1, gramma, and scrappyrabbit. Can you get me an approximate total of your points? Please check out the additional points available below - many of my points are from these challenges scrappyrabbit - as above, I see your "easy peasy" points, but you can add up the number of photos you scrapped and add them to that total! >>If you are counting Easy Peasy points for your LO, You can use the Donna Challenge to add on ONE POINT FOR EACH PHOTO on that layout. So if you have a 12x12 page with six photos, and you have shared it for us to see, you would count Creating & Sharing one page (2) + 20 Easy Peasy points+ six photos (6) = 28 points. >>TEN points per hour organizing with bonus points for special projects. This month's focus is stamps and stamp/die combo's. >>10 points for every day that you stay frozen (adhesive and photo prints exempted) >> 1 point for every dollar spent >>10 pts per hour scrapping with others. In person or online.
