Hi everyone, I hope you're all enjoying the weekend, wherever you are and whatever you're doing. This Sketchtember I will be creating sketches from layouts I've found online that have caught my eye. Here is today's sketch: And here is my sample layout: The twist this week is a Tic Tac Toe twist. From the grid below, choose three items in a row, in any direction, to use on your project. Take 2 points for using the sketch, take 3 points for the twist, and take a bonus 5 points for using both the sketch and the twist on the same page. And because I'm feeling generous, take a bonus 10 points if you use all nine items on one page. Have fun!

What a great tic tac toe and love the sketch! Now looking for all photos in a set that are portrait! I don't have many photos that are portrait so I usually end up turning each portrait into 2 landscape. For this sketch I was going to use 2 square-ish photos, but then went with three portrait and a journal card instead.

Great sketch AussieMeg ! I couldn't fit four photos (printed them too big I guess) so I just used three. Wish I had more farm paper.

I used pattern paper, a banner (hand cut), and enamel dots for the twist - I had to simplify a little to make the sketch work for me

MDscrapaholic that chicken paper is so perfect and I love it paired with the gingham. Linda I adore that little kitty border and the little pops of the cat themed papers.

AussieMeg thank you for the sketch! I like the journaling card in one of the slots and I love how your kids are posed the same but with different expressions, how it tells a story. It took me a minute to realize, "OOOO the tic-tac-toe spells September!" MDscrapaholic , so sweet with the perfect paper and your photos are so well taken. linda , awww cute kitty and nice job reworking the sketch for a different dimension. Chinagirl828 SOOO beautiful. I adore how the layout highlights the beautiful photos.

This was a great sketch to stretch! Loved using an ancient paper collection too from 2009. The circles are punched from one of the patterned papers!

jjpeapea I love your reindeer banner! Great paper choices, especially the tiny pops of that brighter green to match your photos. I'm leaving praise in the gallery for any pages linked there.

So many cool takes on this challenge! I will be back to leave love. I promise... Here is my page. Happy first day by Gramma Dee, on Flickr For the twist, I have a tab, enamel dots, and some Nuvo drops under "Happy"
While my dgs had been on the bus 3 days last week, the twins (neighbours) were just starting Kindergarten yesterday. I was so proud to see how he greeted them and encouraged them about getting on the bus. He was the first one to get on the bus, and proudly marched to one of the rear seats where the "older" kids--grades three and four--were to be seated. He then jumped up to help the little guys find the seat with their name on it. Journaling is on the facing page, which I shared in a different SKETCHtember challenge.
Points: one page created & shared (2). SKETCHtember (2) + twost (3) + bpmus (5). R-3 one page (5) and three photos (3) for Donna challenge. P-1 Simple Stories (1), P-3 five patterns (5), p-7 dots (1), S/I-2 three rectangular pic's (3), s/I--4 stars (1), C/M-1 blue (1), C/M-3 blue, yellow and a bit of green (6), C/M-5 glitter stickers (1), T-3 circle and star dies (2), Th-1 school (1), Th-4 all outdoor photos (3), N/S-3 cluster (1). Total: 46.

I didn’t complete the twist but I did use pattern paper to match my other prom pages (fussy cut flowers) and a few enamel dots. Thanks for a fun sketch!

schroema I don't think you usually work in pastels but for the prom theme they are perfect and I love the pretty, pink, pastel page that captures the special moment. Great clusters! gramma, this was a great sketch to highlight your animal photos. Lovely! Are these your photos? scrappyrabbit perfect sketch for your sequoia photos, no wonder you are super happy. The dimensions of your photos highlight the grandeur of the trees. The sketch lets your trees shine.

Here is my take on the sketch, completed the twist with the use of banner, enamel dots and pattern paper. Remember my photos are temporary printed on copy paper as I create the page first and then order the prints.

jjpeapea your papers are perfect for the photos, so fresh and pretty. I really like how you put more of an angle on the bottom strips. I wish I'd done that with mine. schroema I love your gorgeous clusters, and those colours are really pretty. What a gorgeous hair do! I'll have to go have a look through your posts for the rest of the prom photos. There's love in the gallery for the other fab layouts ❤️ Chinagirl828 angel97701 grammadee gramma scrappyrabbit MARIBETHR .

Here's my take on this one. I used the rainbow and clouds in place of the circles. I actually completed the first page of this two page layout last year! So I would have done this completely different if it weren't for the completed page. Sketch5 by Boy Mom, on Flickr
