larger than the Sidekick, but it isn't a full sized Big Shot.
I bought a bunch of the 75% off dies from Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. My intention was to give them to a friend who makes cards (Christmas gift). The Sidekick is too small for many of the dies, but they are not much more than 4 inches wide by 6 inches tall. I've been searching eBay and Marketplace for a used machine that might work, but so far everything is the Sidekick or the Big Shot. I've seen a few Revolutions and another brand I wasn't familiar with, but I really am at a loss for a used machine that might work for the dies. She doesn't have a lot of storage space, so I am trying to keep the size as small as possible.
Thought I'd ask here first since I know a lot of people have manual die cutters. I do have an extra Sidekick that I could give her, but that would mean half the dies wouldn't work.

Every once in a while, I see the We R Memory Keepers Revolutions at Tuesday Morning. And I've seen a few Cuttlebugs at thrift stores (but not the plates). You could probably find a really old school original red Sizzix for cheap.  |

Every once in a while, I see the We R Memory Keepers Revolutions at Tuesday Morning. And I've seen a few Cuttlebugs at thrift stores (but not the plates). You could probably find a really old school original red Sizzix for cheap. I have the red Sizzix. I haven't seen a Revolution at my TM for ages though. I didn't think they were large enough. I'll have to check. I also used to have an old Quickutz that I gave away years ago. Will check old Cuttlebugs too. I have seen them at our second hand craft store. |

I was going to suggest the Diamond Press Marquis also. Crafter's Companion (the original owner of Diamond Press) has a small manual machine that looks good too. It uses 6x3 inch plates, so I don't know if that would be big enough. I think the Marquis is a little bigger.

I have diamond press marquis. It's pretty good and space saver compare to big shot.

I think the old Quickutz Revolution might work. There are usually several for sale on eBay for decent prices.

I would try the Goodwill online store. I've seen plenty of die cut machines for cheap there. They function similar to eBay, I believe. |

The Revolution is my favorite machine ever. I’m on my second and I have a backup in storage. Just know that it only takes wafer thin dies. There’s an accessory 12” platform to cut dies longer than 4”.

I've been checking weekly at my Arc and Goodwill (lousy for craft items) and our second hand craft store. Lots of Texture Boutiques and old red Sizzix Machines, but I haven't found anything else yet. |

These are all full 3” instead of 2.5” or 2.7” I do not have any of these but I’m keeping my eye on sales as my side kick is on its last legs .
