…this weekend and I’m so freaking excited. Haven’t been to one since 2019. Usually go to two or three a year but Covid.
Starts on Friday morning and goes till Sunday afternoon. Three days! Can’t wait!!!!

My friend and I are going to a three day scrapbooking event this weekend too! We go to this one every year but of course last year's was virtual. Our state is requiring masks indoors so that's kind of a bummer but oh well, at last we get to go!

Had a great time. Going again in November!
Didn’t get as much done as I usually do but it just felt good to flex that creative part of my brain again.
And I don’t know about the rest of you, but for me, going away to a weekend crop is one of the only times I truly shut off and don’t think about anything else for an extended period of time. No thoughts about work, laundry, bills etc. It’s so good for me.

It's an additional $50 but would be nice to be able to get set up and start cropping first thing Friday morning. I don't even care how much I get done. I'm looking forward to time with my peeps!

I always appreciate crops that gave a Thursday start option. The time goes so fast, and the first day is taken up with unloading, getting set up, dinner etc. Worth the money for me.
The one I currently regularly attend doesn’t offer this option and it doesn’t start on Friday until 6pm 😑 I’ve just been booking a room on Thursday night and scrapping in my room until it starts. I get a lot more done this way.

I get a lot more done this way. Luckily this is a small retreat center with only 10 beds and the person who owns it is super flexible. We try to go twice a year. I think IF I can be packed in time I will probably take advantage of the Thursday arrival. It will be nice even if I am only able to get set up on Thursday. |
