Some peas recommended the Staples brand stain finish photo paper. Highly recommend if you print at home.
I picked some ultra premium 8.5x11 photo paper (I like to print out a bunch of smaller photos from photoshop) and it prints really nicely. Thick paper too. I have an older Canon Pixma. I think it was $18 for 50?
I may try some 4x6 paper in my Picturemate when I run out of that size.

Another pea recommended the paper after taking a photography course, I believe. I bought the paper and have been waiting to see if the class if offered again.

I see it online at Staples for $22.59 - 100 pack.
**Sorry I'm referring to the 4x6 size which is what I bought.
