Here is the link for today’s sketch. www.scrapbook.com/gallery/image/sketch/6616625.htmlHere’s the sketch photo. Sketchtember #10 by
Here’s what I did Sketchtember #10 1 For the twist, this sketch is brought to you by the letter G and number 3. For G, I used green in my layout and a guitar die cut. Anything that starts with G or uses the letter G somehow goes! For 3, I used three star shaped die cuts (two stars and a starburst blast), but any way to incorporate 3 works! Groups of 3 embellishments, 3 photos, 3 people in a photo, 3 year old birthday or anniversary, 3 year old pictures, you get the idea. (You only have to use the letter G or the number 3, not both to get the twist points.)[/a]

Another cool sketch, ComplicatedLady, and a great take on it. I hope to get to your sketches in the upcoming days. Made a kit with your first sketch. May pop this one in there too, and then do two facing pages...

Could not sleep last night . . . awake in bed for almost 90 minutes. Finally got up and took something, then went and cranked most of this layout out. Used my Brother Scan-n-Cut for all the hearts and title. Just the edges scalloped borders. Ancient Provo Craft paper and all but one piece is scraps from my table from other layouts in the engagement album. This is the closing page of the album. I have others to work on, but this just so happened to work for this sketch.

angel97701 what a lovely interpretation. I like your title a lot. Sorry you are not sleeping well. I don't sleep as well, and nothing special is on my mind. I think it just comes from being older. ComplicatedLady thanks so much for the sketch! I wanted to try the easy breezy traveler's notebook approach like your cute example but put it in my album, so I made the pages and then mounted them on 12x12. I wanted to quickly capture a fresh event, today's bike trail ride. jediannie , no worries, I didn't forget your Sketchtember 9. I have my theme idea and some pictures printed but I am still trying to decide between single and double page.

jjpeapea I didn't even think of creating it as two halves and sticking to a 12x12, and I'm totally going to try this on a future layout. Love that super cute row of chickens! I think I've caught everyone else in the gallery.

Linda I love that colour combo, but also that you chose a minty green to match your story.

AussieMeg awwwww I try to hold my cat like that but she won't cooperate. The most I get is warm feet in colder weather. I like the cool fresh blues to complement your shirt. scrappyrabbit I LOVE that you saved the note and included it in your layout. What a thoughtful host. And the view through the windows! I enjoyed your layout. linda I enjoyed the lavender and mint combination in your TN inspired layout. And now I am hungry for mint chocolate chip cake. Chinagirl828 I loved your photo and how the supporting elements all speak to the story. Oh yeah, I was in the library club in middle school. Because that's where the books were.

Here is my take on the sketch, twist = "G"old. Remember my photos are temporary and printed on printer paper as I create the pages before I order the prints.

Thanks for the sketch ComplicatedLady. You have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, great use of the sketch. I giggled at the chicken friends. I love your description of a beautiful day. angel97701, scrappyrabbit, Chinagirl828, MARIBETHR,and AussieMeg you have love in the gallery. Linda, I love the way you made a full page layout using both sides of the sketch. I should have looked at yours before I started. Love the beautiful colors and the cake looks delicious. The bowl of flowers is a gorgeous addition. Here is mine: I turned the 2nd page 90 degrees and used that as inspiration. I added a globe and 3 hearts for the twist. These layouts are so colorful! I'm loving them all! I had this photo of my oldest grandson and it was the only one taken of him on Halloween that year - it's blurry and not all that great. I was happy to use my new Graphic 45 Midnight Tales collection - I think the brightness of the paper takes away from the blurriness of the photo. The papers just make it work! Makes him look a little more "vampirish." (I flipped the sketch so the photo was on the left)

MDscrapaholic the papers definitely help distract from the blurriness of the photo, although the photo still clearly stands out, great choice for this page.

MARIBETHR ha ha ha I get it! Grooooming instead of grooooving. My smile for the day. Always enjoy a good cat photo. nylene, just right! The background colors, perfect embellishments, "fishtail" banner. How do you all do it? Fishtail banners are my nemesis. Even when I make my Cricut do it! MDscrapaholic wow that is some really special paper, so fun. I like how your vampire is posing for us.
