Thanks gramma, I love this sketch! I've actually used it before, so I was able to use the template I had made previously. I decided to add an extra photo to change it up a bit. Other than that I stuck pretty much to the original sketch.

AussieMeg , I see why you kept this sketch. I love the colors and balance in your layout. gramma , I love how you found a way to make a single page into a complimentary double. I also love the photos in the hexagons - I loved it so much I had to do it in my layout. A great way to focus on family togetherness but also show all the pretty things we saw at the Arboretum. Oops I noticed I forgot to cut off the strip. I'll have to do that before slipping it into the page protector.

loved this one! I used Photoplay Sweet as Honey and the coordinating cut file. And I see my photo is blurry, sigh.

angel97701 What a great use of this sketch for a picture intensive assembly process. Spellbinder dies to the rescue! linda kitties! Always a cute subject! Your grey, black and honey honor your kitty pictures so well. Now how does that work, the paper and the cut file come together? grammadee wow all the colors, all the textures, all the shapes. The dark background lets it all shine.

Photoplay releases a free cut-file that goes with the collection some time after the collection is released in conjunction with a DT layout - I've seen links on their FBpage and also in their email.

Thanks, jjpeapea. That black background was my last decision on that page. Was thinking I usually use golds and oranges and harvest colours on my September calendar pages, but when I looked at what colours from the photo I had used in the hexagons, I realized there was quite a bit of black--in her leggings, the door behind her--that I had not tapped into. Took out the black cs thinking I would not like it, but once I saw it, I loved it. Again, I am loving all the different ways one sketch can be interpreted. jjpeapea and angel97701, I love how you saw the hexagons as photo shape possibilities. Yet the one enhances the beauty of the scenery and the other a sense of love and pride at all the shared activity. Linda, your patterned hexagons are really pretty, a great contrast to the grey gingham, and of course the kitties are sweet as honey (although hoping--for your sake--they never discover how to open a jar of honey ...). There is love on Flickr for AussieMeg and gramma.

jjpeapea I actually really like the striped border strip although not fitting in a page protector would be quite an issue. Beautiful colours, and I love that you turned some of the hexagons into embellishments. Linda the hexagons look fab with the black border around them and your kitty is adorable. I think I've caught everyone else in the gallery.

gramma, thank you for the sketch. I love your layouts. You have love in the gallery. Is one of those cars yours? I’ll bet your DH loves these pages. AussieMeg, grammadee and angel97701, you have love in the gallery. jjpeapea, I love the flowers you have added to the hexagons. Everything works so well together to fit with your title. Your background dots pick up all the colors in your photos. Very pretty. Linda, I love your colors against the gray/black and white gingham. Those flowers really pop and lead the eye directly to your cute kitty photos. I think this is a favorite. Very cute page of your little darlings. Here is mine: I went very simple which made it go pretty fast. I really like the sketch and will probably use it again. Make A Wish

nylene Oh wow, I LOVE how your hexagons have all the lovely attributes of the subject. And how you reflected the colors in the shirt and hat. And the title. A lovely layout.

Oh my, such talented scrapbookers we have here! I'm loving all the layouts! After two weeks of work (why does work take so much time??) I finally got a chance to scrap last night. Hopefully, after chores are done today I'll be able to do a few more! I gotta catch up with y'all! I don't have any hexagons (need to get a nesting die set!) so I used ephemera in place of the hexagons. I think it looks okay.

MDscrapaholic such a gorgeous photo and I love how you've switched the hexagons for those die cut pieces.

Sketch 11 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr My take on the sketch. I used a hexagon punch that I have. This is a companion page to sketch #17.

Chinagirl828 the colors and hexagon arrangement and embellishments are so great but the nerd animal is soooo cute, stealing the show. MDscrapaholic Lovely doggie elements! Pepper owns the house, right? Your dog looks so regal on that chair. scrappyrabbit, I love how your layout is inspired by the sketch and does such a great job telling your story. Congratulations on finding a condo in a crazy housing market.
