Welcome to Sunday everyone! For today's sketch I have created a double page sketch I made from a page kit I found online. I think it could easily translate into a single page sketch if you'd prefer. And here is my layout: The twist today is a Tic Tac Toe twist using the letters SUMMER FUN. From the grid below, choose three items in a row, in any direction, to use on your project. You can choose either the products/items, OR the colours. Take 2 points for using the sketch, take 1 point for every row you complete on the grid, and take a bonus 5 points for using both the sketch and the twist on the same page. And because I'm feeling generous, if your page relates to summer fun, take an extra 3 points - why not?!
Have fun!

Ooh I love this one. I will have to go hunting through my holiday photos for something suitable.
And I'm loving all your warm weather beachy pages.

I did it! WAHOO, the entire tic tac toe. As for the rick-rack I didn't have the right color, then remember, oh I have a sizzix die that cuts rick-rack. My new item might be questionable . . . but it's the Cheeky Studio Wildflowers that i got as a DT gift. Everything else is super ancient Provo craft patterned paper all scraps but one sheet, and the enamel dots are from 2016 and 2018. Turns out to be super colorful and have every color in the rainbow except violet!

angel97701 oh my you did ALL the tic tac toes without making it look contrived? Wow! So beautiful and colorful. AussieMeg , thank you for the sketch! I love your color combination and how your colors and patterns look so nice together. Still working towards that here. Very slowly.... I did only one page. But I like the sketch a lot.

I struggled with this one - it just didn't come together easily and I couldn't manage the twist but I'm pretty happy with the end results so...

jjpeapea that's gorgeous! Blue green and orange is one of my favourite colour combinations, it's so pretty. Linda it doesn't look like you struggled with this at all, your page is wonderful! As usual your papers and colours are perfect for those amazing photos.

jjpeapea your colours are beautifully chosen, I love how that butterfly paper pulls the colour scheme together and that basil leaf piece is the perfect accent. Linda I totally get that struggle where a page just does not want to come together. The end result is beautiful, I really love the colours you chose for the bottom banners, and the brighter pops in the butterflies and your title are just perfect.

AussieMeg, thank you for the sketch. I love your beach pages and this one is gorgeous. You have love in the gallery. angel97701, you also have love in the gallery. Sweet pages. jjpeapea, I love that butterfly paper and the way you used those colors throughout your layout. Great photos showing the process. I love the greenery you used between the photos. Very classy page. Linda, great job converting this to smaller size. I love your beautiful outline leaves, those delicate butterflies and your layered title.. I can tell you are using your new machine. Beautifully done, my friend. Here is mine. I scrunched it down to fit my 8.5x11 size and made it landscape. I flipped the 2nd page upside down. Silver and Shining R

gramma, I asked what her next book was going to be about and she said, "Which one?" She is constantly writing and has several books in mind. LOL. Maybe we can have another outing together in the near future. We'll keep her writing!

This did not go the direction I imagined and as a result it is the weirdest mix of papers I've ever used for a Christmas layout.

I did the right side of the sketch and flipped it sideways. Used OA Sasparilla papers again. OOPS, I forgot a title!

nylene your layout looks so good and captures the accomplishment so well. One year I had my students do Nanowrimo, and while I spent most of my time supporting their work I did write my own about a sentient snowgirl who is rapidly melting. She had a bad cranky attitude. I didn't finish it. It was kind of lame. Chinagirl828 what a precious memory. You are so lucky to have photos and your story took me back to happy Christmas surprises in the mid century. The TV context helped that. I bet you get that special nostalgic feeling when you look at your photos and your layout. MDscrapaholic I love your photo arrangement! Clever cropping? Lucky photos? Nice!

AussieMeg - I love the colours you used - the orange is perfect with the blue water. angel97701 - I'm super impressed you did the whole TicTacToe on that - and it looks fabulous! jjpeapea - Your colours are great and the layout came together so well - I really like it. I have some of that butterfly paper too - I like how you used enough to show off the pretty pattern but not so much that it's busy - I struggle with that. nylene - awesome layout - I love the little mouse! Chinagirl828 = I love that little house cluster - it really ties the whole layout together! So pretty MDscrapaholic - I like the subdued colours that let the photos shine - the brighter embellishments draw the eye right in. gramma - those heart and star clusters are awesome! scrappyrabbit - you did a great job integrating the stickers into the layout - looks great!
