I am in the market for some 12x12 bins. What brands have you tried at Michaels? Simply Tidy? Recollections? Iris? Are they sturdy? Do they hold 12x12 paper with the manufacturer strip still attached? Are they square inside so corners stay crisp? And . . . anything else I should ask Thanks in advance!

If you are talking about the plastic bins I have Iris ones. They hold paper with the strip. I can see what the other bins are as well. Some are a knock off brand for sure.

I have the Iris brand and a couple of the Michaels Recollections brand. The Iris containers are sturdier in my opinion, and latch better. Both will hold the 12x12 paper with the branding strip.

If you can, get the ones with the clips that close the box...they actually stay closed!

Beware of the ones from Costco - They look similar, but they aren't quite big enough for 12x12😕
I have both Recollections and Iris and like them both. Iris are a bit sturdier.

Mine are Iris and I've had them for years. They have withheld the test of time without problem. They do hold 12x12 paper with manufacturer strip. The inside corners are not square but I've never had a problem with bent paper.

I have these from Ms and I like them a lot. They have slightly rounded square corners, but the paper is not affected at all. The paper does not even touch the corners, and 12x12 with strip fits. They are a knockoff of an ArtBin product, but these ones work good. Simply Tidy bins with clip closure. Sort of related - I bought a knockoff Recollections photo sorter/storage plastic bin and that thing was crap. It would not stay closed. I will never do Recollections knockoff bins again.

I prefer the ArtBin boxes to Iris. I think they are sturdier. I think I got all of mine at JoAnn or Amazon.
