First of all I have to admit I haven't worked on my scrapbooks in awhile (I have been just sliding my photos into slotted page protectors until I felt like scrapbooking again). Today I took out my supplies and got into it again. Anyway.. I dug out my Cricut Air machine and I am so happy that they finally gave us the OFFSET function in Design Space. Also I have been scrapbooking since the late 90's and for years I have been asking for sturdy top loading page protectors for CM albums. My cousin was a CMC and when she retired I got some CM album cover sets deeply discounted but they have been sitting in my closet because I don't want to scrapbook on the CM pages and I didn't feel like adhering a 12x12 layout onto a CM page. I am so pleased they FINALLY came out with a good quality top loading page protector I can slide my pages into so I can use those albums. Way back when I was hand cutting out letters (from tracing an alphabet stencil) I was so happy when they came out with the original Sizzix machine that would cut out letters for me. It is kind of amazing that now I am able to cut any font out with an electronic cutting machine. Now I am going to start wishing for a housekeeper robot like Rosey on the Jetsons.

I had a fun selection of alphabet stencils! Pebbles (which turned into EK Success for awhile), Frances Meyer, ProvoCraft, Scrap Pagerz...just to name a few of the brands of alphabet stencils I had.

I still have my alphabet stencils and my original Sizzix with two alphabets, though I never use any of it. I just can't bear the thought of getting rid of any of it!!

Having the photos in page protectors is half the battle. When I really wanted to scrap and didn't have much time, I'd make sure two rooms a day were tidied so the house always looked pretty clean. I've never been that person who cleans all day/morning.

I loved fussy cutting alphas. I found it relaxing! But I jumped on the die cutting train as soon as it came out. My scrap/play time is too precious, esp nowadays.
