On CSPAN ...McKayla.... Maggie Nichol #2.
They have also named three
girls who were unnamed that made the reports. The FBI dropped the ball big time..
McKayla has named the initial FBI agent who interviewed her. After 14 months she states that he lied in his report..

I am listening while doing other things as well, but it does sound like the FBI really did drop the ball, to the point of being complicit.

One FBI agent was fired. He lied to the FBI. Why was he not charged?
Agent Michael Langdon(?) was just fired two weeks ago after the lengthly disciplinary process. I would think lying to the FBI would be YOU ARE GONE, NOW?!?!
One, Abbott, was allowed to retire before the the official information was available, against him.
What is the statute of limitations for lying to the FBI? Why wasn't he charged right away, as soon as the FBI knew?
It is documented that both agents did lie to the FBI!
Sen Blumenthal is asking why the DOJ is not charging NOW!!

I missed the details about the FBI lying. Did they lie to cover up that they didn't do anything? Or did they lie about the allegations? Can someone give the Cliff's notes version? Thanks!

Please don't hold me to the exact details!! Not sure which order, but they both lied about assorted facts, why reports were not filed, took ,14 months to do interviews, did not pass info of sexual assaults to state/local authorities if they thought not FBI cases. BTW: the DOJ refused(?) to appear.... IG Horowitz refered two agents to the DOJ... |

On another note Kavanaugh was brought up.. there were at least 4500 complaints/comments called into the FBI hot line and they were turned over to the WH. That means the present WH can and should turn them over to the FBI and/or DOJ... Dr Ford was also mentioned..

Thank you Sen Whitehouse,!! He made a few quick comments that did not take anything away from today's testimony. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said that reminded him of how the FBI handled a 2018 investigation after Ford accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a high school gathering in 1982.
“It strikes me very strongly, as we sit here today and heard the powerful testimony earlier this morning, that the last time a woman came forward in this committee to testify to her allegations of sexual assault in her childhood, the witness was Christine Blasey Ford,” Whitehouse said to FBI Director Christopher Wray. “It appeared to me then and it appears to me now that her testimony was swept under the rug in a confirmation stampede.
