Woohoo! Here we are with the 16th sketch of the month! I'm dreadfully behind on everyone's sketches, I'm hoping to catch up this weekend. Anyways, here is the sketch for today. It is from 4x6 Photo Sketch Blog.  And here's the "you do the math" twist: Multiplication! Multiply the photos by 2 (or whatever number, just not 1 or zero LOL). In my layout, I multiplied the number of the vertical photos by 2, making them 8 instead of 4. Here's my layout. We're still traveling through my 2005 trip to Europe with my sister.  You do not need to be on a team to play, but if you ARE looking for points... Take TWO points for using the sketch. Take ONE point for taking on the “addition” twist. Take a BONUS of FIVE points for doing BOTH on one project. Thanks for playing along! |

gorgeous photos - great layout ...but you want me to take seven photos which is already a squeeze on a 8.5x11 and multiply them...okay, that'll be a challenge for sure.I'll giv it a try though

I also didn't double all the photos. Can't wait to see what you make! |

Now this is my kind of sketch! But we will see if I have the photos already printed to finish a layout. Plus I am headed to my mom & dad's for a few days so I'm really going to get behind!

ok - I didn't get the twist because I was only able to multiply one of the photos (making it two) but I did the sketch and it worked out great for these pictures. Thanks  |

jediannie, I love this sketch and hope to put it to work today. It worked really well for your beautiful travel page. So many gorgeous photos! good job getting so many cute kitty pics on the smaller pages, Linda. I remember having one of those fun toys for kittens years ago. Hours of fun. jjpeapea, I love that soft peach border around your summery LO. It really helps the photos to pop.

jjpeapea it looks like a really pretty trail. I love the pop of that coral colour for your background, it's so unexpected but so beautiful with your layout. Linda it was always going to be a challenge getting so many photos onto your smaller page size, but you've done a great job with it. I love the mix of close up kitty faces and kitties with people, and I'm totally on board with the sentiment card!

Here's my version. I was too lazy to rescan this to get the white border that goes across the bottom of the page as well. It looks like there's a lot of layering but it's deceptive, it was all printed on the paper except for the floral clusters.  |

 Sketch 16 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr I was able to get so many pictures on to this layout, thank you for the sketch and for the prompt of multiplying! I cut down a few 4x6 photos into 3x4 in order to "multiply" them. |

This sketch WAS PERFECT for a batch of photos that I had hoped would all go on one page. Yeah, it's done!
Paper is 2011 Darice that I ordered online in a package of 25. All three kiddos attend(ed) the same high school and participated in two or three sports each. So having red, black and white patterns was a no brainer! Another new cut file takes the place of bows. I also had a 234 word journal block!

Another batch of really fun, interesting and well put together LO's! Will be back to look at each more closely. Here is my take, jediannie . I split each of the three landscape photos into two 3x4 portrait pic's, so mine has SIX photos along the bottom.
POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). SKETCHtember (2) + twist (1) + bonus (5). Ten photos (10) and two pages (10) for the Donna challenge. P-1 Simple Stories ephemera (2), P-3 two patterns (2), P-6 four scraps (4), P-7 dots (2), P-9 Old reflections and new Blue bell cb (2), P-12 eight ephemera pieces (8), S/I-2 ten rectangular photos (10), T-1 chicken wire die (2) T-6 torn inked edges (4), Th-4 outdoors (2), N/S-3 two large clusters (2), N/S-4 six small photos (6). Total: 78.

angel97701 totally agree, that sketch was perfect for those photos. I like your choices for mats and patterned paper. And the cute skis embellishment. grammadee torn barb wire paper for a farm layout + cute farm animal die cuts + all those fabulous photos makes for a fabulous layout!

This was a perfect sketch for the way I like to scrap an entire season of a sport for the kids. I don't need page after page of each Nordic race, just the highlights please! |
