Here’s the link for today’s sketch www.scrapbook.com/gallery/image/sketch/6517951.htmlHere’s a photo of the sketch Sketchtember #17Here’s my TN version of the sketch Sketchtember #17 2 For the twist—this sketch is brought to you by the letter R and the number 6. I used RED in my version, but anything starting with the letter R will do—word in the title, name of the subject, whatever! I used 6 sided hexagons, but you can use 6 photos, 6 of the same embellishment, a cluster of 6 embellishments, a subject who is 6 years old, whatever! To get the twist points, you only have to use the letter R OR the number 6–not both![/a]

jjpeapea I love how the colours you've chosen for the hexagons work with your story, and the red stripe is the perfect touch.

I kind of went a different direction, switching the hexagons out for floral pieces.

Thanks for the fun sketch! I had every intention of changing things up and replacing the hexagons with stars or triangles or something, but in the end I stuck with the hexagons. I used a couple of clusters of 6 ribbons for the twist (6 and R). I might come back and put a title on it at some stage.

I loved this one, it came together quickly! Since I don't have hexagon dies, I made substitutions. I used old October Afternoon paper! These are from 2013!

Sketch 17 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr I don't have a die-cutting machine, so I hand cut some questionable hexagons (my geometry skills are really not up to par) for this layout. I still think it turned out pretty good. I covered the parts where the hexagons don't line up exactly with my photo placements lol. This is a companion to sketch #11.

Chinagirl828 I loved your sweet tribute to Lorna. Pretty flowers = beautiful soul is what I am reading. AussieMeg that is some confident attitude for someone so young. I love the colors in your layout complimenting his uniform. MDscrapaholic Sweet baby! The perfect background paper for the photos. scrappyrabbit Wow handcutting hexagons would be beyond my motor skills. Good on you. Your new place, yay! Lovely companion to your other layout.

Quick Quotes paper from 2018, paper flowers and leaves from my stash that are easily more than 5 years old! A new cut file for the title, and some very ancient Suze Weinberg Mini Mosaics for the flower centers.
FYI, I had to correct the date because it is actually 2011, so a little strip and a hand-written date covers the incorrect stamped date now.
I used red for R and have 6 flowers and 6 leaves.

ComplicatedLady thank you for this sketch. I really like the way you used it on 2 pages in your TN. The red arrows are a great touch to match the adventure banner. Love the hexagons and the red white and blue papers that fit your photos. Beautiful job. MDscrapaholic I love that background paper. You have the cutest baby photos on your layouts. I love the united look of your photos and rounded squares. They all fit together to look like a beautiful ad in a magazine. Classy page. jjpeapea, what a great way to tell a story. I like the way you used one hexagon for the title and the date. I need to date my pages but forget. Thanks for the reminder. I am sorry you had so much trouble ordering a knife. I hope you finally got the one you wanted somewhere else. Thanks for sharing. AussieMeg, Chinagirl828, scrappyrabbit and angel97701, you have love left in the gallery. Here is mine. This was the day I spent with refupea and her children at the Warehouse sale. Warehouse Sale

playing catch-up on sketches today. I'm hoping the six sides to the hexagon counts for the twist
