Yes, we call them the Santa trackers, but they also do some aerospace defense also. . It's funny you say that b/c we do use the NORAD Santa Tracker just for fun every Christmas eve! When my son was in elementary school, he was questioning the existence of Santa. We found him in the encyclopedia and in books, but when he remembered NORAD tracked him, he said there was no way Santa wasn't real because the government was following him. He never questioned it again and his first comment when we told him we were moving was how Santa would know where to fill his stocking. He's 25.

Congratulations! For moving boxes, watch Facebook Marketplace. With so many military in the area, you should be able to find plenty of boxes for cheap or even free. And buy real packing paper—don’t use newspaper. You will never get the ink off of everything. Good luck with your new adventure. I have the best friends. One has a dad who works at Safeway and brought me two truck loads of apple boxes. Another has a husband who works at FedEx and picks up boxes all the time. I currently have about 150 boxes. We're moving a few loads a day for a while, so I can just reuse the boxes as needed.

I'm very excited for you! You and your husband move fast! Wasn't it just last week when you mentioned you were considering moving?

I'm very excited for you! You and your husband move fast! Wasn't it just last week when you mentioned you were considering moving? Yes, We had the realtor to our house to talk about the process and one week later we had a house. Since it was in the neighborhood I really like and the house is like 1,500 sf larger and lots of updates (just not the kitchen), it was pretty much a no brainer. I'm currently not working, so the timing is also great. I've done all the leg work and keep my husband updated every night. It doesn't hurt that the four houses directly behind us have been sold to one company that is flipping them. We've had some bad experiences with renters lately, so that made it easier too. I've been trying to purge things and my husband keeps saying let's keep things until we move and if they don't work in the new house, we'll donate. So apparently we'll be taking almost everything with us.

Exciting! Although I don't envy you having to move all the paper LOL! I've only packed 6- 14 x 14 boxes. They are heavy. I am trying hard to not buy furniture. I might have to take a trip to IKEA tomorrow and just "see" what they have.
