I have two vacations I want to scrapbook - girls trip to Sutton’s Bay/Traverse city (just came home from) and Las Vegas (going in a couple weeks).
I would get more scrapbooking done if I could decide which way to document the trips. An SC travelers notebook or Citrus Twist album. Both are staring at me on my desk. I know they are both the same size (unless I add new page protectors)
I’ll have plenty of photos no matter what.
This was easier when I only made 12x12 layouts!

I’ve just done my first Citrus Twist album. I used to do mostly 12x12, but was running out of space, so have gone down to 6x8 and now 4x8. I loved the CT album and prefer it to a TN, as I can still add pages or move things around. I printed quite a lot of 4x8 photos and collages at Persnickety Prints and they worked really well in this size.

I've used them for family vacation mini's and I'm getting used to the format. I wish i had more pictures from the previous years (this is my third year in a row). Maybe I'll save the TN for Vegas. It has some pages that are meant for traveling (itinerary, etc.) I scrolled through the CT life crafted hashtag on Instagram this morning for ideas. Need to find some tutorials on the flip out/fold out pages. I have a ton of pictures. I've been printing 4x8 photos at home, I just picked up some nice photo paper.

I love both formats. What sways me is how bulky my embellishments/ephemera etc is going to be. Bulky items I use the CT album, flatter items then I'll use a TN.

How bulky will each page be. All flat embellies can still puff up a TN by the time your done, especially if your covering each page with a patterned paper first.
