Here is a card design for you to try. I have no pictures or diagrams, it's one I received from my Fiskafriend Nancy Carroll.
Cut cardstock 4¼" X 11".
Score the favored side as a valley fold diagonally from top left to bottom right.
Fold and burnish on the scored line.
Fold in half so the points meet. It will fit in an A2 envelope.
Decorate.

After I looked at the photo on the computer, I re-positioned the tree at the back to look more upright--90 degrees with the bottom line. There is a cool pocket inside to slip in a tag or a gift card. (And I will add the word "holidays" when I dig out my Christmas supplies. |

Thanks for posting this. I tried to follow the directions last night, just to see how the card base would look, and thought I must have done something wrong. Yours looks nice, and that’s a good point about the pocket for a gift card. It’s definitely a very different card base, and looks like it would be a bit more challenging to decorate, since you have very different angles to work with.
