For the month of October, some very talented Peas will be bringing us a new card making challenge--complete with example--every DAY! There will be techniques, colour palettes, themes, and unique card designs to try. Did I mention PRIZES?
Please take this as your invitation to check one--or ALL--of the challenges. If you think you would like to play, take this next few days to collect your supplies and tools and clear off a space to PLAY!
You are also invited to join a team over on the Challenges board, and earn points for that team every time you create a card during this upcoming month. I will pop the sign up link in here when I have it set up over there.

Cleaning up my room for the SCT event and hopefully will stay clean for CARDtober.
I post my cards on Instagram can we come up with a # ?
I have used #cardtober and #2peasrefugeescardtober last year.

I like the idea of a hashtag. Do hashtags work if we are posting the images on a blog?

Hashtags might get your post to show up in a general search engine (like Google) keyword search, but the hashtag won't link to social media. For example, if someone on Instagram searches for the hashtag, your post won't appear in the results. I hope that makes sense. |

Fun! BTW, for tagging, cardboxer doesn’t work - have to tap or click on it and my user name should appear. I wish I could change it but others with the same issue have said there’s nothing to do. I don’t know how it happened - what I did when registering. But I do miss tags.
What are points for? Just a fun way to keep track?
With the SCT event this weekend, some cards and a couple gifts I must finally focus on, and keeping a careful eye on our new little adoptee cat who had major oral surgery today, if I join in it will likely be in a week or so, or maybe I’ll watch and learn and then get involved next time, since I haven’t watched a challenge unfold here. It sounds fun!
