Snug bug by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr It feels weird doing a layout with no sketch! This is truly a shameless scraplift from Paige Evan’s blog... using Shimelle papers and pink paisley stickers. The doggy is my parents dog 🐶 Love this layout and the title you chose!

Back with more cards... thanks for the love on the others I made these notecards (just one sheet of cardstock, no fold) with some simple scored framing and a couple of stamps to go in my outgoing eBay orders, selling my FIL's things. They're really easy to scrawl a quick note on. The square card was a little leftover piece from a stamping session ages ago which I stuck to a card base. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr This was another card made of leftovers. I had been thinking on what to do with it, but it came together after I checked out the most recent sheetload of cards sketch - just needed an oval sentiment. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I made this one for a friend. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr This one for my MIL. I used vellum wrapped around the paper to tone down the text which was a bit distracting. The coloring wasn't quite what I wanted for cards to sell but my MIL likes colorful things and I don't really care what she thinks of them 🤫. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr This one went into my shop. The coloring was scary! It looked too bold to me until I let it sit for a while and looked at it from further away. Now I think it's probably ok. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I had some extra ghosties for this card for a friend. I hoped it looked like the left ghost was saying Boo! not just feeling constipated! October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr More ghosties: October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Almost caught up I'll try to post the rest tomorrow.

Another kit challenge. It started as a kit but I really did not like the kit so I stripped out the paper and the circles and went from there IMG_0802 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr

I took these selfies of me and my dog the other day. It was our first day out of lockdown, but we still have to wear masks. I took mine off for the photos.

Obviously I need to take some time to look at everyone's projects and leave some love. At a crop this last weekend I was able to construct 25 pages. I have uploaded five of them to the Gallery today. Two of those were shared in a Sketchtember challenge they met. Here are the other three. The weather is really dull and dreary today and these were the best photos I could get. IRL, the pages appear much more vibrant. Two pages of my ddil and dgs's at the lake this past summer: Sunshine vibes by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And the October page for my family calendar that needs to be assembled and copied for Christmas gifts.
POINTS: three pages created & shared (6). Twelve photos (12) and three pages (15) for the Donna challenge. P-2 one PL card (1), P-5 inked edges and backgrounds (2), P-8 inks with stencils (2), S/I-1 two triangles (2), C/M-2 brown, orange, yellow, red (3) + (4+ 5), T-3 inking (3), T-4 fussy cut (1), W/T-2 October (2) + (12), Th-5 thanksgiving (1), Th-6 outside (12), Th-11 two generations (2), N/S-4 one two pager (5), N/S-5 (5) + (1). Total: 96.

More cards! This one was made especially for my friend's kiddo. She likes purple and fantasy and magic, enjoys Harry Potter, and is turning 10 the day after Halloween, so I made this: October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr There's ink blending, die cutting, some coloring on vellum for the windows, a bit of heat embossing for the magic, stamping and marker coloring, even some shimmer spray. I don't usually put this much into a card but this was fun. It's the size bigger than A2 - something like 4x6"-ish? Inside stamped in purple. Playing with a Sweet November stamp for the next 2 cards: October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Halloween-ish floral cards for friends with spider web accents: October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I don't think I've shared this one. I used my own handcarved stamp for the background but the coloring is all layered stenciling from the My Monthly Hero kit. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Experiments in coloring. I really struggle with that big flower and the red kept changing shade as I added more layers. The pink version is the same red but just blended out from the center. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I revised this slightly after I posted it to my challenge - added some enamel dots. Oct share, revised by jo.blackford, on Flickr I made tons more cards today but I figure this is already too long!

And here are four more two-pagers from last weekend's crop: This first one was in response to a timed challenge. We were given a 2-page sketch to be used at any time during the crop and told this timed challenge would be coming, to give us a chance to choose what project we would work on and photos and supplies. i chose the sketch. When the challenge started, we were given 60 minutes to complete our project. All cutting and gluing, journaling, title, was done during that time. Mine was the only double pager. Others chose to tackle a single page or a card for this one. Attendees voted on submissions to each challenge, and I won a prize for this one! brave & beautiful by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This next one works with SKETCHtember #23 and the twist:
And this one works with Sketchy Saturday October 23rd:
And one more two pager:
POINTS: eight pages, created & shared (16). Twenty-eight photos (28) and eight pages (40) for the Donna challenge. Sketchy Saturday (5). P-2 Four PL cards (4), P-8 inks and texture paste (2), P-10 twine (1), S/I-3 twenty seven stars (27), S/I-6 Eleven hearts (11), C/M-1 green (2), T-2 one die (2), one border punch (2), T-4 fussy cut log ends (2), Th-5 Canada Day (1), Th-6 Fourteen outdoor photos (14), Th-11 two generations on one LO (2) and three on another (3),N/S-2 ten patterned papers (10), N/S-4 four two-pagers (20), N/S-5 eight different photo sizes (8), O-1 SKETCHtember (5). Total: 215.

This was my big project this week. I found some gift tags at my FIL's place that were destined to be donated or trashed and realized they were nice enough to use on cards. I put some on embossed backgrounds, some on scrap backgrounds I had made earlier in the year, and then I used up all of my silver and red foil creating some backgrounds using Foil Mates printed sheets. The foil was inherited or bought at TM so I thought I was being smart finding a way to use it up but now I have leftover Foil Mates and I just ordered more foil to use them up (rinse and repeat, ad infinitum). I used up a lot of random bits and bobs in the making of these 35 cards. Very satisfying! October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I finished these cards, they just needed the big hi sentiment and I used some new CP ink to stamp inside sentiments October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These were made to use up kitty paper scraps. I had the bigger cats colored and tucked away already. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr This was made from a flyer in my last scrapbook.com order - scrappy advertising that was good enough to craft with! If only it all was. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These are the cards I made for my color challenges for Cardtober on the card board. I used the same supplies for all of them. I already shared some other versions above. These are my most recent ones for an "uncolored image" challenge: October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Also this one, for a monochrome challenge: Cardtober challenge 13 by jo.blackford, on Flickr and this one was an Oct birthday card for a friend inspired by a calendar page color scheme: CARDtober day 6 by jo.blackford, on Flickr I think I got them all for now! Sorry for the big posts. I'm trying to clear out all the half-started half-finished projects I've been piling up. I might squeeze in a few more in the next couple of days

Ryann, your folios are gorgeous. I would never have the patience to do all that folding and assembling. And you have used great pp collections. I am sure people are happy to purchase these!

It's now 26.00 but Unity stamps go on sale a lot, so if you like it, I would keep checking. www.unitystampco.com/aging-graze-fully/Was just going to add that I LOVE this one, and I am trying to tell myself that I do not need it. I have more cards! My donation box is almost full. These ones are leftovers from a Pink Paislee paper pad I think. My friend online did some great cards with patterned paper and an ornament die (C&9th) that we both have (we seem to buy all the same supplies). I had never used the die that way so I grabbed my paper scraps and cut a bunch, decorated with some bits and bobs and leftovers. Then I used up the bigger scraps with a simple layout. 13 cards done (and then I'll be whipping up a few more out of the smallest scraps using the same ornament die and some circles. I love using up a whole pad). I used up some scavenged bits - the reindeer, the gold glitter paper, and half-finished experiments - the colored poinsettias. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These are just some half-finished cards I finished. The fall leaves card was such a hassle! I love the way it looks but it took forever and masking is a pain. I don't have the patience for that kind of thing. The flower hugs was much easier - just a few stampings and a little ink blending. October share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I think I might have one more small batch to share tomorrow.

Wow, I need to get caught up in looking at these projects this month! I finished more cards - this one today - just trying to use the christmas stamps and dies I have without being "new" or "special" (which bogs my creative process down unnecessarily!): card joy non trad colours by kirstendrew, on Flickr And I'm making myself slip a layout in at least once a week so I don't forget how. This used mainly products from the Scrapbook and Cards "Sampler" kit with it's 6x6 papers, and the acrylic word. layout smile its a weber by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Finished three pages today during the virtual crop. Shared the other in the Sketchy Saturday thread.
POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). Eight photos (8) and two pages (10) for the Donna challenge. P-5 lots of ink on these two pages (1), P-8 did some heat embossing (2), S/I-3 stars (6), T-2 five different dies (10), T-3 ink blending, stenciling, edging, stamping (4), T-5 fussy cut stamped images (3), W/T-2 a couple of O's, a T and some E's (4), W/T-5 stickers, die cut letters and a wood tag (3), Th-6 eight outdoor photos (8), N/S-4 two pages (5), N/S-5 six photo sizes (6). Total: 76
The journaling is yet to come. It will fit at the bottom of the right hand page. The story was that while dd and ds and their families were here in the summer, the boys spent a lot of time ripping around the yard. Grampa had a couple of electric bikes for them to use, and ds had a new-to-them motorized dirt bike, so the boys were mobile. To explain the "I do my own stunts", after numerous cautions to the kids to be careful, ds managed to set grampa's quad on its side in one of his turns at the bottom of the yard. Fortunately no one was hurt--or not so they would admit! This was a group effort. gramma had gifted me some of the dies, and I heavily relied on her quadding pages shared earlier for the LO design. kitbop came up with the title. I just had to cut it out with my dies.
