I have the Revlon one everyone is talking about, and it's good. However, last year I used my ULTA points towards a DryBar one, and it is WAAAY superior. I have fine, thin, shoulder length hair. I wash it, let it air dry for 15 mins or so, and finish with the brush. Easy, and my hair looks great. If I need my hair done asap I will used a blowdryer for a few minutes instead of air dry. Which DryBar? Double or single? I think these are on my short list. I read these do not get as hot.

I also want to add that I only use the revlon on low heat.

I have the Revlon and I use it sparingly because my regular blow dryer is so much faster. A few months ago, in an attempt to put more effort into learning how to use it, I tried to use it exclusively. After a week or so my roots were so incredibly oily and weighed down that I stopped. I’ve had this same issue with oily hair. I thought I was imagining it at first but then realized the only thing I had changed in my routine was trying to use the Revlon brush dryer more often. I have very thin hair and it’s prone to oiliness but I’ve only been using the brush and no extras product on my hair.

I have the revlon one and love it when I want to have more volume in my hair. I have curly hair and I wait till it’s damp and use it on the low setting. It is pretty loud to use. I have to use my straightener at the end because I have yet how to figure out to get straight ends. I always end up with the ends curled under and I don’t like that look. That’s more on me than the revlon brush. I have just past shoulder length hair so it’s a bit tricky to let it lay straight. Overall, I’m happy with it!

I have the revlon and use it every time I wash my hair. I use my regular dryer to dry my hair about 80-90% dry, then go in with the revlon on low setting to style.
Oops. Thought this was a new thread.

The Revlon dryer is easier to use than a blow dryer and round brush but if had arthritis or some issues it still would be quite hard on the wrists and arms.

I can't believe you still have it! And that's it's still going strong. I loved the concept of it. By had my hair all Tangled in knots. Lol!

I have very long, wavy/curley thick-ish hair and issues with nerves in my shoulders so the Revlon brush works pretty great for me as I don’t have to hold my arms as high for nearly as long. But I’ll be the lone dissenter and say that it doesn’t give me the same results as a flat iron. It dries and takes away the waves/curls, but my hair is thicker, not as sleek as when I go over it with the flat iron. It has a lot more body. It still looks great, but if I’m going for the sleeker look, I take a few minutes and finish off with my flat iron. Can’t speak to damage because I almost never style my hair
