Has anyone used this paste? I purchased some Gina K Glitter Gel last year to use on Christmas cards with stencils and I loved it. I am having trouble finding it to purchase now. All I can find that is comparable (I think) is the Nuvo Glacier Paste. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

I have used it and while I don't have the Gina K glitter gel, I have used the Tonic Glimmer paste (which I think is similar), and it's actually somewhat different. It's more of a shimmer/metallic than a true glitter. I'm going to link to a Google photo album I just made really quickly of the card I created, didn't edit the photos, but maybe this will help you see what it looks like when applied. I used the gold paste. It's still really gorgeous, it's just not as grainy/chunky as glitter paste, it's more smooth. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well, lol, but also, if you'd like, I could do a small sample on a piece of paper and mail it to you. I know what it's like when you're trying to hunt down the right texture and don't want to buy a whole jar to see if something works correctly because pastes are so expensive! I've noticed that Picket Fence Studios has a Paper Glitz paste/gel that seems to be more glittery. I haven't used it in person so I can't speak to how it actually applies though.

The Picket Fence Paper Glitz is amazing. I like it better than the Gina K and all of the Nuvo gels and pastes. My big issue with the Nuvos is that they seem to dry up quickly. Ranger are great for opaque, matte and translucent. But for colors, Picket Fence is the way to go. My two cents!

It appears Gina K Glitz Glitter Gel is available directly from Thermoweb as well as at SSS & a few other retailers for $7.99 per 2.3 oz jar. I rarely use mixed media, so only have Vicki Boutin CreativeFX Glaze in iridescent & silver. In addition to brands listed upthread, I've also seen mentioned on previous threads (but have no first hand experience using) Brutus Monroe Glitter Glaze (note Chunky Glitter Glaze is also available) & Stickles Glitter Gel. HTH.

Any pastes once they are open need to be used. If if they are not open and you had them a long time they go bad .
