Cute card mel, your ribbon technique is so creative! Usually I don't use ribbons on my cards, because I'm bow challenged this is a great and easy way to add ribbon. Do you have a twist? I hope its to use a pumpkin, I just made a card that can work with this challenge.

Well, hopefully this card meets the challenge. I did coloring with markers, masking, and ink blending with water splatters. I also added a very small translucent layer with some vellum. Thanks for an easy challenge! I only had the ghost and cat colored this morning but this was a good push to finish off the card. http://instagram.com/p/CUvn47mrBZ0

That is a fabulous fall card, Mel. Did you use patterned paper as one of the layers, or is that stamped? Your ribbon tie is really fun and unusual, too. joblackford, your card is adorable, and as always, your ink shading is perfect.

Linda your card is lovely. I like the softness of the rounded corners. It looks like you're having a lot of fun with your die cut machine

azcrafty , your card is delightful! You said the little car moves……does it move using a thread like one of your challenges last year did? (Such a great technique!)

azcrafty , your card is delightful! You said the little car moves……does it move using a thread like one of your challenges last year did? (Such a great technique!) Yes! I like to use that technique just because it looks clean and you don't need special dies. Instead of beads in the back now I'm using stiring straws( I stole some from DH's bar). There is a second link and takes you to the video.

joblackford your card brought such a smile to my face with the cute ghost patting the cat. Creepy and charming at the same time! I'm enjoying your creativity. linda so beautiful, delicate, lovely. Perfect for a sympathy card. azcrafty WOW such a beautiful and intricate scene. And a moving car? Wow. mel thank you for the challenge! What a lovely fall card! Very polished looking and I'm not sure how you got the great patterned shading on the pumpkins. I used an embossing folder, heat embossing and a punch. And a die for the sentiment. The ornament is more gold looking in real life.

Mel, I love your beautiful fall card. I especially like the texture on your white piece. The layering with dimensional adhesive really adds to the texture. Then adding the ribbon really puts it in a class of its own. Lovely card. Someone will love receiving this. Fall cards are my favorites. joblackford, your card is amazing. I love the ink blending you have used. Will you share what inks you used for this. I need to invest in some darker and more subtle colors. Your stamped and colored images are fabulous. You find the cutest stamps. That’s a beautiful card! Linda, your white embossed piece against the dark purples is so pretty. Did you combine a lot of little dies to make that strip of flowers, or was it all one piece. Your stamped sentiment is exactly the right color for this card. Beautifully done. azcrafty, you have love in the gallery on your beautiful Fall card. jjpeapea, I love the embossing on your card. That ornament is so detailed. You did a great job on your heat embossing. I love that the ribbon and your sentiment are exactly the same color mounted on your embossed background. Very pretty Christmas card. scrapnnana, your card is so pretty. I love the soft colors and the stitched edges. I love the 2 different embossing folders you have used on this card. I need to remember to do that. Your flower is the perfect accent! Absolutely perfect! angel97701, what a pretty Christmas card. You have love in the gallery. Here is mine: I used die cutting, embossing folder, folding/weaving and layering. For Cardtober #7

You find the cutest stamps. That’s a beautiful card! Thanks nylene I used black soot and iced spruce for the blending on this one, but my brush might've been a bit dirty with some licorice ? Hero Arts ink I had been using before. The colors were not quite what I imagined but a little water splatter always helps. I really like the Catherine Pooler (mini) inks for rich colors and they blend quite easily. I love your card. The Christmas tree is intriguing. I bet the textures and layers are even better in person. I love the embossing folder too.

joblackford, Thanks for the info. I have iced spruce but haven't used it much. I really like the darker corners you did on your card. I want to try that out. I will watch for black soot or something similar. It makes such a difference in the depth of the card.

scrapnnana you used the challenge to make such a pretty card, I love all the textures and how the pastel blue and purple look together. angel97701 gorgeous! The embossing on the foil makes it look so special. Add some glittery snowflakes and a nicely offset greeting and it is a very special card. nylene all those layers and texture! Beautifully done. The recipient will feel so special. katiekaty, I love the country fresh feel of your card. Like Joanna Gaines would display it when staging a house! Lovely coloring. iowagirl50147 wow your techniques are spot on! Adding great touches without getting carried away. I especially like the gold outline on the leaves, that looks tricky. What a great sentiment, I love it.

angel97701, your card is beautiful. I love your embossed design, and the glittery snowflakes. nylene, I love your woven/folded Christmas tree, and that the entire layer was embossed. katiekaty, your sunflower card is gorgeous. The crimped layer and tied rope are really eye catching, but the sunflower still takes center stage. iowagirl50147, your card is so lovely with those gilded leaf edges, splatters, and jewels.

Thanks for the challenge, Mel . Some beautiful takes, here. I really need to take out some of my embossing folders... Here are my cards. There is a strip of ribbon on the first one. The texture was paint, glitter, and layering. Also using these for the twist for #17. CARDtober 17 with #7 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

grammadee Wow I love everything about your cards. I see you tracked down the penguin paper. Your cards are so full of joy and life! I love how the fussy cut animals are posed, and the trees, and the SNOW, like they're having a blast playing in the snow. Then the round ornaments I loved so much, how you backed them with contrasting paper. I had to look them up, they are Hero Arts. Two of them are on sale at Joann's. Soooo tempted. Did I mention I love your cards?

Did I mention I love your cards? Thank you. I managed to snag the penguin papers. But the punch and stamp bundle was sold out by the time I placed my order. I wish there were dies to cut the animals--especially those BEARS--& penguins out from the paper, like PhotoPlay does. Fussy cutting is not really my jam. But I really had to get those guys interacting with each other LOL.

I lost this one girls!! I don't know why, but I couldn't find it! I tried the search, I looked at my profile to my posts, and it was just gone!! I'm glad someone bumped it & I saw it!!
All of the cards that have been posted in all of the challenges are so creative!! I'm glad we don't have to pick a favorite!
Ribbon use... I think I go in spurts... use it everywhere for a while then not at all. LOL
