Gah, I'm one of the people who DON'T buy DD kits because I like to assemble my own. And I HAVE been assembling products and don't NEED more. But I don't have ANY of this! And it's cute, and... 2 sets of exclusive OA Daily Flash alpha stickers, cream and woodgrain? Hello!!!! I would love to order this, but I'm trying to show restraint. October Afternoon December Story KitThoughts? Oh, and the "add on" which is not shown...do you think it's an old December stamp (which I don't want) or something new? Hmmm. Kirsten |

I've been stalking the blog but I won't buy this until I see the add-on. I don't want to regret not buying it. Last year the add on was cheaper but was a stamp set and a wooden handle set and a pack of cards I had already got from the eggnog line.
Since they aren't releasing a separate xmas line this year (well it doesn't appear to be that way), I think the kit is an okay price. This is what I would have spent on a line and I don't like to have to buy the album.
I love the papers. I love their style.

The paper and cards are so so cute. On Facebook the OA person said the stamp in the add on is different but I'd really like to see a picture of it.

I really like several of the papers in there. I already bought the SC kit, so am passing on this, but it is cute.

Like you, I also like the product mock-ups shown in the photos. Given OA as only released one line - Public Library - this calendar year & offers December kits/Santa sacks every holiday season, I'm baffled the company is unprepared/experiencing delays for both the kits/sacks! Kirsten Given those woodgrain & cream alpha stickers are listed under the heading, December Story OA Products (rather than included in the Exclusives or Basics lists), I interpreted this to mean these stickers are/will be part of the DF line & available for individual sale. Of course, this could just be wishful thinking on my part, since those woodgrain stickers immediately jumped on my must-have list! Similarly, given the lack of photos & vague description for the Add-on (i.e. add an additional clear stamp set & more!), I hope the company doesn't consider an extra of the same exclusive "An Iconic Christmas" stamp set, memory cards, cutups, or other products from the main kit as meeting this criteria. (UPDATE: Photos of Add-on reveal no duplicates!) |

They have said the stamp in the add on is different. I totally ordered, I know I am a sucker, but I cannot resist OA!
I am not using it for my December Daily, so as long as I get it this year, I am fine.

For those feeling this is too expensive, there's a great deal on peachy cheap today for a little kit with the Silent Night collection (8x8 paper). Could be a good compromise if you don't already have that collection!  |
