Each of my previous challenges have been specific interactive cards. This challenge is to make an interactive card of your choice. Some types of interactive cards are window wheel, pop up card, slide & pull, lift & peek, explosion card, waterfall card, penny slider, swing card, spinner, iris card, etc. I chose to make a window wheel card, but you get to choose what interactive card you want to do this time. You are not limited to what I have listed, but it should be some type of interactive card. The twist is to glue patterned paper to the flap of your envelope. Basically you just cut a rectangle a little bigger than the flap, glue it, then trim away the excess with scissors. Use a patterned paper that you used on your card, or at least that coordinates with your card in some way.  Have fun with it, and thanks for playing along! |

Thank you for the interactive challenge, scrapnnana . What a cute card and so fun, how the ghosts and bats fly because of the wheel action. I love explosion boxes for well wishes. The middle is great for cozy socks for those that need some comforting. No twist points - too chunky for an envelope...   |

jjpeapea, your explosion box is beautiful, and what a great way to include a small gift, with no additional wrapping or separate card required.

scrapnnana , I had a feeling you would choose an interactive card for this challenge. I made 2 Halloween and 1 baby shower interactive cards but they had to be in the mail before you gave us the challenge. I am very happy to make another one. They are my favorite cards to make. I am posting the 2 Halloween cards here, even though they were made before the challenge. I love your moving circle card. I have never made one of those but I think my DD has a die to do it. Your mummy and Halloween cat are so cute. You make beautiful cards, scrapnnana . jjpeapea , in all my card making and scrapping I have never made an explosion box. Yours is so cute and I love the thought of putting warm socks inside. Totally fun papers and decorations. That gives you a lot of sides to decorate. It is wonderful. nylene, thank you, and I don’t care when you made your cards. I think you deserve the points for being psychic (or just knowing that I tend to do interactive cards). Both of your cards are incredibly cute and fun, as well as perfect for this challenge.

Great challenge. Interactive cards are fun to make and fun to receive. Loving the different creative ways seen here to up the ante on each greeting card. Cute dial card, scrapnnana. That explosion box is beautiful, jjpeapea. Still giggling as I imagine the kid opening that Spooky card, nylene. |

This is my interactive card for this challenge. If I were to do it again I'd make the snowflake inside a little thicker. This was a pain, but I do like the result.  Let It Snow |

nylene I loved your spooky card - such a surprise for that to jump out when you open it. Your house card would be so fun to display. Then you added the snowflake card which looks so pretty with the detailed and lacy snowflake pop up. The contrast of the pure white with the dark navy makes it really pop. iowagirl50147 easel cards look so good on display. Your patterned papers are so cute! Nicely done.
