Going at noon to get my booster shot. With all the breakthrough cases and being in person in school, I started stalking the appointments as soon as Moderna started boosters.
My uncle, aunt, and cousin have tested positive in the last couple of days. My mom has a "cold" but is stubborn and won't get tested. All but uncle are vaccinated and he is in the hospital

What I'm afraid of is that we're basically starting all over again, with the variants. The Delta variant is more dangerous than the original virus and is causing once low-rate areas who let down their guard to now seeing their hospitals and ICUs overcrowded. I just pray that all the anti-vaxxers realize that they are putting themselves and others at risk, and just get the damn shots!

I just scheduled mine for tomorrow. I’ve been off work for the last five months (personal reasons) but am headed back to my healthcare job this week. I was going to wait and try to get it from employee health, but my county is offering a free clinic with boosters tomorrow so I’m going to get it then. I don’t want to regret waiting any longer, as my last Pfizer shot was back in January.

Spent three hours today talking my 74 yo mom into scheduling her booster. She’s finally done so for 11/3. I’m exhausted from the effort!
Not 6 months out in the household here yet, but will be getting boosters as soon as we are eligible.

I got my booster this morning!
We are starting to see an increase in cases here, but Delta is still the dominant strain. Either way, I'm happy to have it done!

I got mine early December and I am so happy I did. Lots of vaccinated people are getting sick. My SIL got it right before our holiday dinner, and my next door neighbor has it now. I didn’t have any reactions apart from being tired the day after and taking a long nap which is unusual for me.

Got mine one week ago and I can still feel it at the injection site. No other symptoms other than slight pain where I got the shot. It was never horrible, just a dull ache at times that ibuprofen handled.
