So on Saturday I went to a Vendor show (not all were crafts so was called a Vendor show). Bought 8 Christmas presents! I so missed going to these.
Noticed today that there is going to be one in my town. So I'm signing up! It's for November 27th. I hope our COVID restrictions don't go backwards by then. For now I'm planning on selling Christmas related items. Merry Christmas Charger plates for display. Christmas Ball ornaments with the Someone we know in Heaven saying with Angel wings on them. Christmas cards. Advent calendars made with 24 muffin tins (they are for small muffins), that come with magnetic covers for each spot and will put themed paper on each cover like super heroes and such (I also have Christmas country cottage paper because apparently some of my customers have wanted one for their cottage).
I'm kind of excited to have these crafts to do! Anyone else going to do a craft show?

I don't sell at craft shows, but I will say I can't wait until we can all do fun events again. Good luck!

Pre-covid so many of the vendor/craft shows became a hotbed of MLM sales I just stopped going to them. There is one I read about in my area that is handmade items only, no MLM's so when that one happens I will for sure be going! I've never sold anything at a craft fair but I think about it from time to time. Hope restrictions don't change for you!

I used to do several very small local craft shows and it has been decades. However I love to go to them. I actually travel 6 hours up to my mom's to go to some local ones in her area.

I went to a craft show yesterday. They called it a seller's faire. I'd say it was 60% handmade and the other 40% was either MLM or garage sale type booths. There were 60+ booths total and decent foot traffic during the time we were there (1+ hours). It's free to have a space here and they have one more show for the year in December, so I'm thinking about signing up. I liked that it was outside so I felt comfortable (but kept my mask on!).
I was thinking just this weekend that I have a Costco-size box of hot cocoa packets that I should make cute and market as stocking stuffers or co-worker gifts. I guess I need to decide sooner rather than later if I'm going to do this!
I haven't sold at a craft show in probably 10+ years, but it looks to be about the same. I was surprised to see 3 booths selling cards & other related items (gift card holders, etc.). I typically make-for-sale mini albums & similar, so I don't think I would be stepping on toes if I were to get a booth space for December. My stuff is similar but yet different!
