Not sure if there was already a thread. I couldn’t find one.
How is everyone doing? Are you caught up? Give up?
I did a major catch up at a scrapbook retreat last weekend so I’m caught up except for July which was a mixed media prompt. I’m going to go back and do that. My life got really busy after June and this project definitely fell to the way side. I’m thinking I may skip this project next year which kind of stinks because I do love it. We’ll see.

I've been winging it. I've been using a TN but haven't made an entry since..July? I wasn't following or subscribing to the AE series (I have it from 2019) but my word was PAUSE so I guess I am doing that. I just got too busy. Right now I have my DITL pics on the computer and journaling and that's as far as I have gotten. I think a 6x8 or even a 3x8 would work better for me than the TN. Maybe I will take the class in 22 for some motivation.

Ugh, I felt like I was doing good for the most part, I skipped the Feb lesson this year, but haven't done anything since finishing the July lesson. I think I made a couple of notes for the August lesson but that's it. I'm kicking around going mostly digital just to get caught up. I'm still loving my word so I'm hoping I dig back in. I've done this project for the last 5 years. Typically I do around 10 or so of the 12 lessons but I'm further behind than "normal". I've been enjoying the guest instructors this year, so I don't think it's the class. Just life stuff. I keep mine just in my years PL albums, so it's less obvious if I miss a month. Maybe next year I should do a 6x8 and see if that helps me stick with it. Glad for the push to look at it again!

I'm determined to finish my album before the new year. I worked on it last night and am all caught up except for July which was the mixed media prompt. I am debating going back to finish it or just say F#*& it. Are you going to finish your album? Or are you just done with it and ready to move on to 2022?
Sidenote: I listened to the chats in OLW classroom while catching up and those are probably my favorite addition to the class this year. Very enjoyable.

I used the portfolio and finished more than any other year, but did not officially do all of the projects - some months are just reflections. At this point I’ve started doing the early work for 2022 looking back at 2021 so I’m going to say I’m calling it good.
Totally enjoyed the 2021 OLW workshop - felt like we got a lot more class content with more people and the chats.

Texas Scrap I also used the folio. What did you think? Will you use it again in 2022? I liked the change. I felt it made me stretch my creative brain a bit. I would like to attempt a TN one year, but I’m thinking I will go back to a 6x8 album for 2022.

I just need to see if I took 12 selfies..I know there were 6 from the beginning of the year, not sure of the end. I'm already working on my OLW for 2022. I'm not doing any sort of wrap up in my OLW notebook. But I will wrap up my year using this free tool: yearcompass.com/

I need to do the Reflection page for December, then I am done! This is the earliest I have ever been. I enjoyed the class this year, but my plan is not to purchase the class for 2022. I have seven years of classes I can refer to, and I may just go back and do the 2020 activities since that year was a bust for me. I would like to use the white folio and notebook that are in Ali's shop, but the shipping brings the total up to $42. I'm sure I have other notebooks I can repurpose.

Ok I officially finished my 2021 album. Hooray! I even went back and did the mixed media prompt but I didn’t use paint. It would’ve drove me nuts not to finish it. Glad it’s done. Using the folio & journal was fun. Going back to an album for 2022.
