CARDtober has drawn to a close. It's been a fun and productive month of cardmaking. THANK YOU to all hostesses. The variety of challenges has been wonderful. Thank you to all participants. I LOVE to see all of the responses and the work and creativity you put into it. Thank you for sharing your personal work. Oct. 31st is the leftover challenge. Use at least one thing you have left after your fun month of cardmaking. A mask left from a punch, or the punch left from a mask. Scraps from paper you cut. Stickers or embellishments left in a pack. Things you stamped or painted but didn't use. If you are a super tidy person with nothing left, use something recycled. Cut, or punch, or use something out of junk mail, a magazine, or something else. The twist is to use a very positive sentiment that expresses joy, gratefulness, thankfulness or the like.

I love this idea, and I laughed when I read it. My craft room is overflowing with leftovers!

I’m not sure how long we have to get this one posted, but here is mine. It’s the shaker I had made and was going to use for the winter scene challenge, then I changed my mind. It was sitting out on the table still, so I made it into a rocker card, as a nod to the last interactive challenge I posted (besides, rocker cards are quick and easy).

scrapnnana what a beautiful use of leftovers. It's such a cute shaker and who doesn't love a good snowglobe?

jjpeapea love this challenge! Your card is great. scrapnnana super cute card. Like the snowglobe. I still have to make my rocker card, this give me an idea. Here is mine. I just went thru my leftovers . I used this sentiment die with joblackford's challenges and ended up with a few negative pieces. I just glued the hot pink and holographic ones together. Couldn't find the middle of the o so I just put rhinestones there. 20211101_092607-01 by Azcrafty, on Flickr

azcrafty Using your negative pieces is exactly the kind of thing I had in mind. I've enjoyed your JOY die in its many moods. This is the perfect wrap-up to CARDtober.

This is a great challenge! I've been doing it without even knowing I was doing it but I have some leftover bits on my table that I'm working on turning into ornament cards that I haven't finished or shared yet, so I will get on those!
