Is my only option the Misti? I've googled and don't see any that fit a full sheet of 8.5x11 paper except the 12.5 inch Misti.

I was looking for something similar and eventually caved and bought the 12.5" Misti. It was the only one I could find that would easily accommodate a full scrapbook page.

Other than the original MISTI, the largest stamp platform (that I know of) was the original Tim Holtz platform, which is no longer sold in the U.S. The stamping surface is 8.5 x 8.5 inches, though, not 8.5 x 11.

The Tim Holtz stamping platform works well with that size. You can find them for sale on Amazon and eBay.

The Holtz and the Stampin Up both have 2 sides open to accommodate larger sizes. I would like to know how the 12.5" Misti works with the really thin lid. Do you have to use one of those "hockey puck" tools for pressure to get a good image? This is why I miss the Expos, try before you buy.

The ad says R 2500, that's US $33.38. I wonder what the shipping from India costs?

The great thing about all of them is your item doesn’t shift so you can keep restamping. They really are game changers abd make line so much better then using blocks. Tge memory misti is probably the best choice for a scrapbook page

Some UK shops ship - or used to ship - the Tim Holtz platforms to the U.S. Given the lawsuit and settlement, maybe they no longer do, but it could be worth a search to ask a couple. Before the platforms were available in the U.S. a number of people bought the Tim platform from a UK shop where the owner cut ties with MSP after some bad experiences, including threatening one of her employees who put up a video. Shipping wasn’t bad. If interested PM me and I can try to find the shop.

It was on sale at the time, so I was ok with the shipping costs from the UK…

Definitely try eBay. I sold my TH full size platform last year on eBay for a very reasonable price.

My LSS uses the misti for classes and yes she gives us the Hocky puck thing to use with it for any ‘larger’ stamps.

I love my hockey puck thing - I bought on on etsy and it makes it so easy! I put the full Misti on my wishlist for Santa

I also have a WAMK Letterpress I use as a stamp platform and emboss/die cut platform.
