Yesterday I drove around doing errands. Snapped this photo of my to-go coffee with the steering wheel in the background.
It reminds me of how grateful I am for my physical mobility, the finances to own and operate a car, and the mental faculties to drive it. So much freedom! Glorious!

That is gorgeous autumn foliage, DawnMcD. Sadly our leaves are now on the ground. And we have no snow, so everything is pretty dreary v Today I am going to express my gratitude for electronics. This past week I have been receiving pics like the in texts and in shared on line albums.   It is so wonderful to feel like I am sharing the fun right along with kids that are far away. |

That is gorgeous autumn foliage, DawnMcD . Sadly our leaves are now on the ground. And we have no snow, so everything is pretty dreary v And that explains why I am thankful that our native trees are all evergreen, and I don't have to look at dreary grey leafless trees in winter. I took these photos today, and I have taken this same photo many times throughout the year, and it looks the same whether it's summer, autumn, winter or spring. As well as being thankful for the greenery, I am thankful that I live in a suburb that has lots of parkland and lakes and wetlands.  I am not thankful however, that just after taking these photos today, I took my eyes off Boris for two seconds, and he jumped in the swampy waters amongst the reeds and was covered in mud up to his neck.  |
