It's definitely bright and happy. What do you think?

That’s not a fall/winter color palette. Are they from the Southern Hemisphere?

That’s not a fall/winter color palette. Are they from the Southern Hemisphere? They're from Missouri- I actually went there in 2019!

Do you have a link? I searched for color splash on their website, but didn't see anything.

It's a sneak peek at this point. Ok, thanks. I couldn't quite see some of the smaller images. I think the colors are fun, but I don't think I need a scrapbook themed line.

Bright and colorful, I like it. I love that they’re a family owned business and always innovating, always changing to meet customer’s needs.

It’s similar to their collection for their We Create retreat. The colors are definitely the same which are more bright than I use. The papers are versatile though and don’t box you into a topic.

I love the bright colors. I don't care for the t-shirts, but I think they could easily be cut into squares or rectangles (around the sayings).
The price would determine whether I purchased it or not.

I like bright and fun, but this is too bright for me. I agree. I'm all about bright and fun, and I never thought I'd say something is too bright, but here we are! That’s not a fall/winter color palette. Are they from the Southern Hemisphere? Maybe it's different in the digital scrapbooking world, because each store has new releases every single week, but I don't expect - nor do I want - every new release to have a colour palette to match the current season. Thank goodness you can still buy digital kits with pastels or blues and greens in November, because I really dislike autumn colours.

It's definitely bright and cheerful, but I gravitate towards softer colour palettes and would really struggle with this.

I appreciate the feedback! This first collection is a bit different from the ones that will follow. Color Splash started off as a small collection offered only to the 300 people attending We Create this past September. The colors came from the event logo. I took that collection and reworked parts of it with the goal in mind of giving it broader appeal. I did that by pairing non-themed papers with themed cutouts for four topics.
What I ended up with was 12 double-sided non-themed papers, 6 single-sided "quad" papers that each have four 6x6 designs, 4 non-themed embellishment cutout papers (stars, hearts, etc.), and 8 themed embellishment cutout papers (2 themed for scrapbooking, 2 for crops and retreats, 2 for friends, and 2 for children at play). There will be three more sneak peeks in the next three weeks, similar to this one.
In a couple of weeks, we will have layouts to share by Allison Davis and myself. Some people like bright, some don't. But I'm hoping that our layouts will show the collection's versatility. Obviously, it's not for everyone. But I loved designing it, and have several other collections in the works.
What our emphasis will be after Color Splash is designing niche collections, narrow but needed themes that wouldn't be profitable for the big companies. For example, the Scrapbook Generation collection coming out in January is piano- and music-themed. It has a totally different vibe and color scheme - caramel, khaki, grays, and black.

I'm glad that you're doing this. I'm a digital scrapper, and I tend to buy more kits from the designers who show a few sample layouts using the kit. Sometimes I am on the fence about a kit, and if there are no sample layouts to show me how it all works together, I usually won't buy.

I'm so excited to see Scrapbook Generation come out with this! Ilove the idea!
I will keep my eyes peeled for the music themed collection, I have a new saxophone player in my house with a concert coming up...so I'll have some great photos to scrap!

I really like it. If the top orange paper was purple instead—it would be nearly perfect to me!

I don't usually use bright paper. I use more muted colors in most of my layouts. That said, I DO actually use bright/primary colors in my Disney albums. Some of these would work well for that - obviously not the theme-y ones that are geared specifically toward crops/scrapbooking.
I think this line is really beautifully done and I like the idea of a company picking up in areas left behind by the larger companies.

I like the idea of a company picking up in areas left behind by the larger companies. So do I. I'm looking forward to seeing what the music one has, and I hope these lines do well enough for SG to continue to design and offer them.

Debbie - Funny. I was wondering why you guys have never ventured into designing papers. And now you have.
I am always drawn to the brights of Echo Park and Simple Stories. So the colours of this collection is right up my alley. The theme is a bit of a miss for me...this time...... but I'm excited to see what comes next.

In my area we had a few years ago, pre-covid, there was a race called the Color Run, or something like it. I don’t know if they still do it, but this would be perfect for it, other than it’s the wrong season.
Other than that, though, I would probably not go for these bright colors.

If these are a tweak of the collection offered at We Create, and it appears to be the case, the B sides are small patterns and colors that I find will be quite usable for many topics. And there were several B sides that were purple ComplicatedLady. *fingers crossed they are included* I love purple too! In some ways this reminds me of of a few of Shimelle's collections.

I like it. I can see myself cutting out the tshirts to use on tags.
Can't wait to see the next collection.
@rush2scrap I am thrilled to see ya'll have your own line.

Still learning...I believe that the colors on the graphics I've shared on social media are way too bright compared to the actual paper. Our sample papers arrived yesterday and I posted a photo of some of them on Instagram and Facebook, but I'm not up on how to add photos to posts here.
