I absolutely LOVE the idea of eating all the sides! The only fake meat product we eat is the Beyond Sausage Hot Italian, which isn’t very thanksgivigish. Last year we made oven roasted tofu bites (from the “It doesn’t taste like chicken” site - but with way more spices than she uses, kind of like the ChickfilA nuggets). So I had a little bit of that. And then ALL THE SIDES! Do they make a regular Italian sausage? I am a vegetarian now, but I always made sausage apple stuffing in the past. I'd love to make it vegetarian! Yes! It’s at Whole Foods or if you have a Meijer near you. I didn’t know there were two kinds when I first found it. All that was in stock was the hot. But the hot is not even hot. I don’t like hot/spicy and this is perfect.

May I please have your recipe for the stuffing? I'd like to try it w Beyond Sausage too.

I'd like to try it w Beyond Sausage too. Mine originally came from the Joy of Cooking. I believe this is the recipe: smithmeadows.com/apple-sausage-stuffing/I usually use Granny Smith apples. When I was eating meat I always bought Jimmy Dean sage sausage for this. I would probably add a little more sage if I wasn't using that.

I don't really do a lot of cooking right now because my husband still eats meat. I mostly eat bean/cheese burritos

I know some here have specifically stated they are not looking for fake meats, but I do recall people raving online about faux-turkey cutlet type things at Aldi last holiday season. The only possible issue is that if your local Aldi is like ours, you may find they are rather elusive.
