When I first found 2peas, I was only a buyer. I needed help with an order and I accidentally found nsbr board. There was a thread about a house with mirrors everywhere. I was hooked! It was in 2000, I think. I was looking for Kathy Levine (QVC Host) and her blog page or whatever and saw the same thread about the mirrors and I have been here ever since. I think my first post was to Ms smartypants (i think)about buyin' a belt buckle with my daughters name. was it Ms Smartypants that had black hair and the 'v' shaped bangs? ETA It might have been before that. I remember posting about my work giving me a grandma shower when my first DGD was born in the 1900's (96). That was almost 25 years ago! YIKES!!! Where has the time gone? ?

My claim to fame, FWIW, was being the first person not a member of the White family to register. I had been in a chat room with Kristina and some other scrapbookers who would become some of the early peas (not sure any are on this board at all). She told us she was starting a new site and I immediately went and registered. She sent me a big packet of Making Memories letter stickers as a prize for registering first.
That’s it. I was there from day 1. My participation has waxed and waned over time with life. My baby was barely a toddler at the time and now she’s an adult.

I started scrapping in the mid-90's. A friend introduced me to Club Scrap, and they had an active message board. I suppose I heard about 2Peas there.
I still have TONS of scrapping supplies, but only make a card or two every so often. I have great plans for getting back into papercrafting when I retire.

I first saw scrapbooks at a Mom and Tots fair in my hometown and was very intrigued by it. I signed up for a demonstration through Creative Memories. From there I was hooked. That was in 1995, I was pregnant with my second. When we got our first computer I looked up scrapbooking and found the dMarie site and through them found 2 Peas. The good ol' days of the first site. Lots of entertainment on the NSBR. I still scrapbook to this day and love it. Love this site too.

From 2003 to 2005 I owned an LSS with a friend. I joined 2Peas mostly for increasing business awareness back then. My username was 2Gals, because our shop was 2 Gals Scrappin'
But I eventually just popped in to NSBR all the time, none of the other boards really.
And here I still am!

I scrapbooked as a kid in the early 2000's but it was more "she loves crafting" than anything else.
I was a frequent reader of the scrapsmack blog because I'm nosy AF and liked reading things on both the 2peas and SC forums so I'd know who was being talked about on the blog. I was never a member of either and I didn't really craft/scrapbook at the time because I was living in a college dorm. I started scrapbooking and making a creative space for myself in 2013ish when we were going to Disneyland a lot. I made an account here a few years back but I'm generally not a talkative/personable person so it didn't get any use until last year when I had a lot more time on my hands to sit and play with papers.

I was on the Creating Keepsakes message board for quite awhile.. 2peas was talked about on there and about how mean it was over there. So I vowed I would never go over to that mean board. But I did occasionally look because CK was slowing down quite a bit and I was bored with them. So finally I just ended up 'here'. I didn't post much.. and was basically on the SB side of it.. never adventuring to the NSBR side.. whoa.. but again, the more slower it moved on the SB side the more I looked on the NSBR side.
That's how I got here.

I started scrappin after I got married in Oct 2000. I was a member of ScrapbookAddict and that was my main board. I found 2Peas and joined in 2000 too. I've always been Bridget in MD, in some format, on the boards.
I was scrapping up until my son was born in 2005, and once my DD was in school, I just never had the time. I downsized a lot of my supplies, but still have a lot too. Most of the time I find my crafts was for school or scout projects. I do hope to get back into it, but now I worry about who gets stuck with those books!

I was a stay-at-home mom. I started scrapbooking for a creative outlet. I found TwoPeas when I was online shopping. I checked out the message boards and ventured to the NSBR to see what it was all about. I posted a lot at night when the kids were in bed. It was my adult socialization.
I stopped scrapping for a long time. I have dabbled in it now and then. I have a dedicated space, but I haven't dedicated my time.
I don't remember when I joined. After 2001. That was when my last child was born.

I was introduced to scrapping in 2002 and found the Creating Keepsakes board. It was fine - very nice and civilized - but I was at a CK convention in Boston (I went alone) and a group of us "solos" started talking at a crop and the term 'two peas' was being thrown around by all of them. I went home, signed on and saw the NSBR. It was more my speed.

as best as i could recall, i had just started scrapbooking and found the original 2Peas board online. for the first few years, i think i posted mostly in the general scrapbooking section. i finally transitioned over to hanging out in NSBR when i realize how much more interesting it was. LOL

I went to a CM party in 1998 after I got married and wanted to scrapbook the wedding.
I got hooked and ended up working at a local LSS and I'm sure it was here that I heard about 2Peas. At first, I was just on the General Scrapping board but wound up over in NSBR as a big lurker way too scared to post!

I know I saw an ad in Creating Keepsakes for 2 peas. My son was born in 2004, so 17 years ago. Wow. Sometimes I would be catching up on Monday mornings at my desk, cackling wildly but trying to be quiet, crying with laughter. Especially about the Rooster. Oh that metal rooster. That, the fossil purse with the bird on it (birdgate) - geez you ladies are FUNNY!! I project life a tiny bit, but mostly craft my planner and stick a few photos in it. I kept all my stuff though because I'd like to find time to do it some more!

A mom from my son's first grade was showing me her Creative Memories album and I loved it. Went to her party and have been scrapbooking ever since! That would have been somewhere around 1998.
I think I found 2Peas through DMarie. I can't remember the year but the first thing I remember was one of the peas children were found walking the railroad tracks and the parents (the mom was a pea) went to jail??? Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

I discovered scrapbooking through a LSS in 2001, around the time our younger ds was born. Punches were my gateway drug and CK Magazine my first subscription. About 2003/04 one of dh’s colleagues showed an interest so I lent her some magazines. By the time we next got together she had found the original 2Peas site. I joined shortly after but only lurked. I was there (partly as it was unfolding) for the drama over DD and the poor lady with eye cancer - that was shocking to me. The SJ ‘So there!’ drama, secret garden reveal, and the doxing 🤬 of the lady who set up the original Smack blog were some real low points. Oh, and the KC dethroning (anyone else remember this?). I was completely floored though the day 2Peas closed. Never saw it coming. It was about 3 years later before I found this site, after going down a scrapbooking related rabbit hole, and I really only read/participated on the gs side of the board (I was Knickknacknz). In 2018 I ended up selling or giving away all my supplies and deleted my account here but occasionally still read and eventually drifted over to the nsbr side. I rejoined last year after getting swept up in one of the power-of-the-peas threads.😊
