Shutterfly discontinued the advanced editing options on their photo books, meaning you can't align photos or space them out nicely, among other things. Recent online reviews are just bashing Shutterfly for removing that option, AND for crappy quality lately. I'm halfway through making a book that I need seven copies of....ugh...I hate the thought of starting over. Snapfish is more expensive and has way less options for books (and they're ugly compared to Shutterfly). Does anyone else have a site they like/recommend for photo books? UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I have embraced the grid and make pages in the Project Life app and use them as "photos" to build a book at shutterfly.

I use blurb, either using their customizable layouts in their free BookWright software or in the Lightroom book module. I don't 100% love them, especially after I lost my saved layouts (in their old software) that I had been using for years, but they have the book sizes and prices I like. I also like being able to build the book offline and upload it to their site when I'm ready.
Blurb has really good discounts around Black Friday. I try to order my books around then for 30-40% off.
The idea of starting over totally sucks. I feel you on that. It's even harder than starting from nothing.
