I am not a card maker at all, but my aunt is and I would like to get her some stuff for Christmas. I have a bottle of “art glitter designer adhesive” I use on my scrapbook layouts to adhere sequins and was thinking that would be something she could use, but wanted to put something fun with it
My aunt has something with her hands that makes it hard to grip small things, is there a tool she could use to adhere sequins onto the glue? She loves enamel dots on her cards, but I think she would like sequins even more so I was going to get her some mixes, but worry about how he will adhere them.
Any suggestions? Any other uses of this glue?

There are tools called "jewel pickers" for placing rhinestones and sequins. The Stampin' Up version is called "Take your Pick". They had a little adhesive or putty on the end. Some of my stamping friends use them. Long thin stainless steel pins to clean the glue nozzle are helpful. A silicone or plastic mat to protect the surface would be handy too.

The glue comes with a special pin you can store in the nozzle, but the picker sounds perfect.

Yes, there are different versions of the jewel picker. Some people just use a wax pencil but that's not a great gift. The jewel pickers are used by the diamond dot painting people too. I have this one which is double ended, available lots of places. www.joann.com/jewel-picker-double-ended/15356264.html You might consider reverse grip tweezers as well. They hold tight and then you squeeze to release, so they might be handy for someone with hand issues. I have similar to these www.scrapbook.com/store/sbc-tweezers.htmlI tried to search some other ideas for using this glue but the name/word combos are so common that I didn't get any good results, just a lot of glitter glue crafts. I know a lot of people really love the stuff though, I've heard it mentioned in a lot of videos. At the very least it should be a good liquid glue for general cardmaking purposes

I would get her some fun sequins, jewels and pearls. www.scrapbook.com/store/products/Box+of+jewels.htmlYou can find some nice mixes on Etsy too. My friend has a Crystal Katana and she loves it. I use wax pencil and I'm very happy with it, I have the jewel picker, it works ok ,but it's not my favorite and I have the silhouette pick me up - I really don't like it, I always have to use something to hold my sequins on the top of the glue, I think the putty is to strong and doesn't let go of the sequins easily.

A really nice pickup tool is the Crystal Katana, though it’s on the more costly end. The handle is thicker than some other tools so could be more comfortable to hold, depending on your aunt's hand condition. (That’s something I always look for in tools.) A case it snaps into is usually sold separately but it’s included on their website. I like the case to protect the tip and it would be a really nice gift. but it’s not required. Prices vary and googling brings up a bunch. And if you’re not sure she’d like sequins, other options are jewels, crystals, flat pearls, more enamel dots or liquid dots like Ranger's or other companies' are possibilities. It’s really nice you’re putting so much thought into her gift. www.crystalninja.com/products/crystal-katana-black-w-free-tool-case

Yes on the reverse tweezers. I think mine are EK. Or a little divider box for the sequins, and one piece of swiffer floor duster that can be cut into smaller pieces to eliminate static when trying to get the darned things into the container. 🤨 (Rub on fingers, the container, inside the sequin bag.) If you want links, yell - getting carried away. Putting quotes around “art glitter glue” or art institute glitter glue reduces a lot of junk

I have the embellishment wand from Studio Katia. Its a game changer for adding accoutrements to my cards and layouts. I also have the little triangle tray to hold the sequins, jewels etc. A lot easier to pour back into the bag or container. www.studiokatia.com/products/embellishment-wand

In 1-1/2 weeks they replied sorry, my email was in the spam folder. Nothing about the messaging app, form, etc. The question wasn’t answered. Based on that if I purchase their products it will be from a seller, not directly from them.

If you can find a stand for the glue so it stays upside down and ready to use, that would be a nice addition to your gift. Also, Pink Fresh Studio sells gorgeous jewels if you want to get her something a little different with the sequins. www.pinkfreshstudio.com/collections/jewels-and-crystalsI'd love to know what you end up putting together!
