You never saw me hit a buy button sooooooooo fast! I was wondering if there would be a new sampling of goodies in the last Santa Sack...except I thought maybe it would be Treasure Map! I love the new line! It is so reminiscent of my childhood siting in front of the TV on Saturday mornings watching Bugs Bunny cartoons, love the nostalgic feeling. OA does retro like no one else. OA always makes me happy with the fact their lines don't look just like everyone else's. At times, these days, a lot of collections have been starting to look the same. I seriously hope we get that Omelette paper...I love clouds. I noticed a few normal "staple" items weren't listed for Saturday Mornings: no button pack, no miscellany pack, no sew fun banners, no clear stamps (2 rubber though), no mini market (GASP!), no 12 x 12 alpha stickers, no collection pack or 8x8 pad, and the border stickers and label stickers have been combined into 1 sheet. I wonder if some things didn't get produced in time or if they are making cuts to their staple embellishments? And...How on earth did they keep that line secret until it was in their hands?!
On another note...yesterday I finally received my Santa Sack number 1! Super cute goodies.
ETA: I had to add that Saturday Mornings reminds me of the retro art of Ren and Stimpy which I always feel got that aspect so right.

I seriously DIED and went to heaven right about now...this SS had SO many of my ISO items...the 12 x 12 Travel Girl Alpha, Midway Miscellany, Omelette Paper and Reading paper from Daily Flash! Thrilled right now. I can't wait to see Saturday Mornings showing up in stores too so I can buy a bunch!

Hope everyone enjoys getting &/or giving the OA Sacks! I haven't ordered any this year, since I've purchased every item (plus some) from my wish list & am reserving my budget for new OA releases expected in the coming months. However, I may be interested in the last/Stamp Sack if backgrounds are included this year. Any sightings/spoilers/content list/etc for the Stamp Sack? TIA. stampinisfun - Thanks for sharing the content list every week. Enjoy the OA goodness! impearia & annchristine - Every year the Sacks are a sad reminder that OA products are not readily available. They always contain popular &/or hard-to-find items that online retailers have shown as out-of-stock for weeks/months & physical stores claim are listed as discontinued & unavailable to re-/order, yet the company obviously has them in its warehouse! Hoping this will change in the new year... |

I got mine yesterday and I love it! The only thing I had was the silent night paper everything else was all new to me.
