I hope the jury can see past the attempts to trash the victim. The defense attorneys disgust me. I get that is their job, but it still really repulses me that they would get up there and do that. It is all about how the killers felt threatened and how he "acted suspicious". Uh...how would you act if someone you didn't know pulled up on you and were acting like the defendants? Wouldn't you be scared and try to avoid them? I sure would. I would imagine it would be even scarier for a black man being surrounded by three "bubbas."

Is it me or do these lawyers go on FOREVER?! I really dislike the defense attorneys, but the one for Roddie Bryan is really droning on. I am doing other things at the same time as listening, but I think if I was a juror I would be really lost, confused and just want him to end.

They are talking about Arbrey's toenails? WTF? People need to send their clipped toenails to that despicable lawyer.

They did everything they could to make him out to be a big, dirty, scary black guy out to harm a nice White neighborhood. Hoping to trigger the fear and racism of the jurors, I assume. It was pretty gross. |

That was said by Laura Hogue, Greg McMichael’s atty, during closing arguments. She was saying that Arbery’s picture (the one that shows him smiling) is not representative of the real Arbery because on the day of the shooting he was wearing khaki shorts and no socks to cover his long, dirty toenails. I’m sure you get what she really means. If you think that was bad, she asked the jury if any reasonable person would believe that Arbery was just looking around. In other words, no matter how innocent, black lookie-loo = burglar. |

I just saw an alert on my phone. I’m so relieved that they found him guilty. I still think the defense attorneys were racist but at least it didn’t affect the outcome.

An underlying crime, in other words, meaning the murder occurred while committing another felony. So, the predicates are: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; aggravated assault with the two trucks; false imprisonment. Each of those predicates is a separate count. |

The press conference with the family and the attorneys is very powerful. I’m so happy they got justice for Ahmaud.

Not shocked at all. The jury made the right decision. I agree that it was the right decision. But wasn’t confident that the jury would do what was right. Especially in Georgia and given the racist comments from the defense attorneys. |

CNN. Just showed them being taken to the vehicles to transport them to 'jail' ... They were each taken to a different car. Gregory was escorted by a very large Black officer!!
