Yep! I did my banister and put up one of my three trees. This one is my second favourite and holds my Disney ornaments. My favourite is still the one with all the Hallmark Father Christmas series ornaments in memory of my Dad. But this one was easier to get to today š ETA - Iām in Canada, thanksgiving is long over, and it is TIME!

My team and I just decorated a tower room of a historic mansion today and it feels good to be done. Now on to finishing the 14,000 Sq foot home I do each year!! We were talking that we are going to be āChristmased outā before thanksgiving!!!

I'm so haopy our Thanksgiving is early, nice to spread out the big meals. Also nice to get in the festive spirit whenever I want. I put up my tree and decorated the house yesterday. Last year I probably had it done by the 5th of November, which is the earliest I have ever done it. I was tired of 2020's BS and wanted some cheer. I wasn't tired of the decorations by the end. It's not bright until 8:30 am right now and it's dark after 4:30pm and only getting worse. It's snowy. It's time for mini lights and festive cheer. Because once it comes down there will still be 3 months of winter and 2 months before you can really go outside so I need all the help I can get.

Last week I was excited to decorate, but after yesterday I don't even want to any more. For the 2nd year we won't be doing anything for Thanksgiving or Christmas. With Covid ramping up again my mom doesn't want to take the chance of anyone getting sick. I do understand, but I miss my family so much. We only live a few miles from my parents and usually see them once a month or so, but I so miss my aunts/uncles/cousins. It's been 3 years since I've seen most of them. Hubby isn't big on the holidays anyway and doesn't care if the house is decorated. I may just end up decorating my hutch and call it a day. We'll see. I think it also might be time to get a smaller tree. I have a 8.5 foot, which I just love, but being the one that carries it up the stairs etc every year, it's just getting to be too much. Honestly if I could find a nice 4 ft or so I would probably get that and then just have to figure out a stand of some sort to make it a little higher

Not yet. Weāll be out of the country for Christmas so Iām not intending to decorate. I donāt even have a tree. I gave my old prelit one away before we moved last year. DH and DS donāt care about decorations so I wonāt bother. DH and I went to see some a Christmas lights at Tokyo Skytree last weekend but they were a bit underwhelming without the usual projection mapping and Christmas market stalls.

Me! I'm in the process of decorating now and will have it all up before thanksgiving. November 1 is when I think Christmas is fair game

I am so ready, but I need to wait. Last December we moved from Florida to western North Carolina. Despite the hundreds of boxes needing to be unpacked, I did find enough Christmas decorations to decorate a Christmas corner. This year I can't wait to go full on Christmas. However, the grandkids are coming for Thanksgiving to see the new home for the first time so I figure I'd better stay in fall mode until they leave. Once they're gone - all bets are off!

It's way too early, I'd be sick of seeing it all by the 1st of December and I've never willingly listened to Christmas music in my life.

DH was out of town last weekend and I half jokingly told DD we should put up the tree while he was gone just to see his reaction. She wanted to do it, but I refrained. I did buy a wreath at Costco today though and put it on the front door.
