I have always been a staunch, "No Christmas until after Thanksgiving!" person. No exceptions, no Christmas music, nothing other than my husband hanging outdoor lights on a warm fall day (that we did not turn on until after Thanksgiving.
That said, I am listening to Christmas music today. And getting ready to decorate. I am going to be gone from Tuesday before Thanksgiving until Tuesday after, and I want to come home to all of my decorating finished and boxes put away so I can enjoy it. Also, my kids and I had our Thanksgiving dinner Saturday. We are having Thanksgiving with my son's new husband's family, but we are doing Mexican food not traditional Thanksgiving food. Since in my mind, we already had Thanksgiving, I am in Christmas mode. I have been piling my fall stuff on the dining room table, and tonight, I'm going to start Christmas decorating. I am also spending my day working from home making Christmas ornaments for a holiday event I have at work, so I put on Christmas music to set the mood.
What is happening to me?? LOL I have never, EVER listened to Christmas music before Thanksgiving. I didn't even get annoyed by it in Hobby Lobby last week. LOL
Who is with me? And what Christmas related things are you doing?

I can’t wait to decorate ! Like you, I always decorate after Thanksgiving. This year, I’m busting to start now! I can’t wait to see my trees all decorated!
Last week I started to listen to Christmas while getting all my wrapping done. Today I started to get my labels ready for my Christmas cards.
Only because Thanksgiving is at my house, am I holding on and not decorating!

I am absolutely not in the Christmas mood as I am still moving boxes from my old house to my new one. I also just started a part-time job and am trying to get back into the world of wearing pants. Well, pants that aren't jeans. Today it is 73 degrees and sunny. BUT, my boys and their SOs were in Christmas mode at 12:01 am November first. They have put up two trees in my house so far. So if someone wants to help me put up trees, I am ALL about being the Christmas mood for them.

I put Christmas music on at work today. I have my own office and it is loud enough for only me. I needed a little pick me up and could not resist. We won't decorate until after Thanksgiving, but I will be making some Christmas items this weekend.

I’m in charge of my club’s Christmas party this year so I’ve been in Christmas mode for a few weeks. I just finished the table decorations yesterday. I still have 12 gifts baskets to finish putting together and I’m making an ornament for each lady attending our annual cookie exchange.

I’ve been watching Hallmark Christmas movies (My not-so-guilty pleasure). I’ve set 2 SirisXM channels of Holiday music as favorites on my car. I’ve put up (but not yet decorated) three Christmas trees. That will happen later this week. In my defense, I do our trees here at home early because DH and I do the Holiday decorations for work. We will be doing 2 large trees, a slim tree, the fireplace mantel and placing various wall and table decor throughout the main foyer room. Plus will do some outside decor. We will have to take the fall decorations down next week, but we have to work around business hours. We have limited window of time and hours to do it all. The slim tree I made into a fall tree, so it will need to be decorated and moved to a different location. It’s a lot of work. (I should post pictures). By the time I get done I don’t want to have anything to do with putting up my own decorations. Ha.

I’m working on my first of 5 trees today. Well, actually 7 if you count the two small 4’ ones. And 8 if I buy another one, which I’m considering.
My goal is to have them all finished by Thanksgiving.

I’m right there with you.
Normally I don’t even get into Christmas until mid December- this year I am already stringing white lights up outside (which really are appropriate year round), baking, and listening to holiday music. It’s been a rough year I think I need some cheer.

I’m the SAME! This year feel different and I’m ready to enjoy it all longer than a month! (Of course, I’ve left my tree up until St.Patrick’s day before! LOL! I procrastinate taking it down and it locks me every day after New Years! LOL)
I say “Deck the halls, baby!”

I am totally in the Christmas mood. I decorated most of my house on Nov 3rd, after having a not so great week with my kids/teens. I love our house decorated so thought it might make me happier and I think it did. We use a real tree so I won't do that until Dec 4th weekend probably. The rest of the house is looking fantastic though.

I love watching Christmas Hallmark and Lifetime movies after Thanksgiving, and I am using my Mrs. Meyers Peppermint and Pine all purpose sprays and soaps. I am also getting my German Shepherd's Christmas toys down from the attic soon. But I would be so happy if we didn't have to put up a tree and decorate the house. Our family room is too cluttered with a tree! And in the past 28 yrs., we have only been home two times for Christmas. I won't win that one though. I love outdoor decor!

I put the outside lights up last week while I was off work and brought all the decor and tree stuff out from storage yesterday. Bring it on Santa!

I have been listening to Christmas music since first of November.
This weekend I out away indoor fall decor. I tend to do that anyways so I can have a week of nothing to dust and not be visually overwhelmed.
We will start to decorate next week on Monday.

I am in Christmas mode already. My DD is scheduled for a c-section on December 28. Her twins birthday is December 16. My DSIL birthday is the 23rd. Plus I'm a race director for back to back 5ks on the first weekend of December.
If I don't get in gear now, it's not happening. Given my SAD, I need a little Christmas.

Canadian, so my thanksgiving is long last. This is the first time in years I have a tree. I put it up after Remembrance Day. Homemade wreath is also up on the front door.

I can't wait to get our decorations out! We usually put them out Thanksgiving weekend - we may even do it a little early this year, since it's just my own household for Thanksgiving this year.

I want to be, but not quite there yet.
We are having new carpet laid on 24 November so at the moment we are madly trying to paint the house and currently have nearly all our belongings out in our living areas. Along with 8 cats and 3 dogs, the house looks like a bomb has gone off. I'm trying to work from home and my youngest daughter is in isolation due to a positive covid case at school. She has her final covid test tomorrow and if negative will be able to go back to school Friday, but its exam week so she is sitting on a mattress on the floor of her room currently doing a Maths exam online.
I can't wait until next Wednesday when I can start putting everything back together. Although I am under strict instructions that the tree is not to go up until my oldest dd comes home from University for the holidays, which at this stage is not expected until around 3 December as Cheer and Dance Nationals are the last weekend of the month.

I always decorate on Thanksgiving night, so I need to get my Christmas stuff out of my storage closet.
Yesterday, I looked up to see when Rudolph (my favorite Christmas show/movie) will be airing. Watching it on tv is a yearly tradition (with a cup of hot chocolate).
Every year I always treat myself to a package of "seasonal" Pepperidge Farm Snowball Cookies.

Well our house is in the same mood. My sister is as she already decorated and put up the tree this weekend. Our house looks so nice since all of the reno is complete.
Me, I'm still in a funk since I still am in a cast up to my knee till next week. I tried to help a bit but it was difficult with one foot and the crutch under my arm.

Not even close! The only thing remotely Christmassy I have done is to buy a new Christmas scrapbook kit in a half price sale last week.

I am! I put up my bedroom tree on Sunday + decorated my room. I absoultely love it all. I plan on doing the rest of the house this week (at least starting the whole house). I also planted my paper white bulbs in their containers this morning, so they'll bloom in time for Christmas. We leave next Tuesday for Louisiana for Thanksgiving + then immediately leave again for Las Vegas the first week of December, so I am trying to get all my decorating done early.

Not at all. I don’t even feel like putting up a tree, but I probably will. I don’t have a reason for feeling like a Scrooge this year, it just sounds like a lot of work.
Thanksgiving is at my house this year and I’m not much in the mood for that either.

I have a small tree, not decorated, already lit.
I have about half the gifts here and will wrap before the end of the week. I like to just enjoy the month of December without stress, so I do things early.

You’re all crazy! 🤣 Aren’t you fed up with it all by the time Christmas actually comes?! DS’s GF has put up her tree, and DS told her that when they’re married and living in Scotland, she cannot put it up before the first of December! It’s just not the done thing here at all.

I love all things orange, pumpkin and fallish, and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. So there will be no Christmas decorating happening here until after December starts.
That said, I’m watching a Hallmark Christmas movie as I type this, and I’ve started shopping for my girls.
