I am thinking of getting my 94 yo mom one of those digital picture frames for Christmas. The only issue is that she doesn't have wifi. So my thought is to preload it with pictures. I realize that I wouldn't be able to send her new pictures due to the lack of wifi. Or could I connect it to my hot spot and upload pictures when I visit?
Do you have one of these? Am I missing anything?

I have one that is older model. No wifi. A jump drive plugs into the back and shows the photos. If I want to add to that, I would have to change what I plug into the USB port.
In your case you would have to send your mom a new drive with photos loaded.
..or load more on when you visit.
This is assuming the frame operates the way mine does.
