Now $199 at Epson.com site with free shipping. Regularly $249.
Based on Pea recommendations, been watching for months for a sale and ordered today. Getting excited for my holiday break scrapping!

This is the really popular one that prints up to 5x7?
How do ink & paper prices work out?
I’m about to be fed up with printing at shops around town. My main hesitation with printing at home is being beholden to the computer to prep pics. I can’t do that. I don’t do photoshop, etc. But I think with this epson I can just use drag & drop pic apps? Please correct me if I’m wrong. 😬

I'm not great on the computer so I just print from one of the many apps I have. I've never had an issue printing.

I’d wait to see if it goes lower for Black Friday. Amazon often has it on sale for $149, and I even got mine on super sale for $129. You can set an alert for the price drop using an extension like Octoshop. (I initially got Octoshop when I was one the hunt for a PS5. Now I use it for scrappy stuff, like cardstock and photo paper/ink, mostly at amazon. Works great.)

I either print wireless direct from my phone. Or, I use the Project Life app to make a photo collage on my phone, and then print to the printer. And, it's also nice to be able to print from my computer if I have photos there to print. It's really nice to be able to just print a few photos without waiting for them, or having to run to the store.
Also, just in case anyone wonders about B&H Photo-they are a reputable company and we purchase from them quite often. Their shipping may be a bit slower then some places though. Just fyi.

I have it and love it. I use the Epson app quite a bit if I don't need to do much editing to the pic. I definitely got more that 100 prints out of the last ink cartridge. I didn't replace it until it was completely out of ink. It's definitely made my PL photo printing a LOT easier.

Can you share a bit more about your process from the PL app to printing? Do you save the photo collage to your picture roll? Or can you print directly from the app?

I save the photo collage to both the library in the PL app and to my photo gallery on my phone. I then go to the photo in my gallery and print from there. Maybe that's the way my phone is set up, maybe it's the way my wireless printing is set up. I'm honestly not sure on that, but that is the way it works for me. I guess I don't see an option to print from the app, but maybe I just don't use it correctly.

Got mine a few months back, also on sale as Costco was shutting down the in-store printing. Love the quality, and was surprised!

You can also download the app Epson Creative Print to make collages and print them straight from the app to the printer. It works amazingly. I love mine.

Thanks again, enablers, for alerting me to something I "need." LOL! I just ordered mine from Amazon where it is still $199. I believe I saw on B&H that their sale ends tonight (12-4). Epson.com has a good sale on paper and free shipping on ink. I ordered both and got free shipping on the lot! Now to tell DH when he wakes up in the morning what he's getting me for Christmas!

What kind of paper do you all recommend? Does the ink cartridge it comes with last a good while?
I ended up ordering it from Best Buy through the Ibotta app. They were offering 10% back on BB purchases, so I’ll get a $20 gift card back.

Epson suggests that their ink cartridges last for 100 photos, but I've seen posts where people claim to have printed more. I have no experience yet as I just ordered mine. I'm using Epson paper, as I've learned from past experience that I got best results from the manufacturer's products. Their prices on paper aren't bad, I don't think. They have a sale on today on their website, mostly 50% off. Don't know how long that will last.

Which did you get?
