I would like to take a die cut page divider (it says Fa La La) and scan it with my Cameo, then flip the image and cut it out on a different piece of paper. Is this possible? I have an older Cameo, would I just need to buy a Pixscan mat?
Thank you!

I am by no means a Silhouette expert, so hopefully one will weigh in. I do know you can flip things horizontally and vertically, when you say flip, will the words (fa lala) be backwards then? I think you may be able to do it without the pixscan if you can scan in the page and save it as a png image somehow.
Then open it, flip it horizontally, put the registration marks on the design to print first then place back on the mat to cut it?

I agree with scrapcat, I don't think you need the Pixscan mat. I also don't think you'd need registration marks unless you're printing something, which from your description, it doesn't sound like you are? Simply scan it into the software and flip/manipulate the image as needed, then cut from paper.

scrapcat wendifful thank you both so much. I was able to scan it, trace it, resize and cut it out. I was within a hairsbreadth of the right size, so what I decided to do was offset the original design (in black) with the cut design (in red). It looks great!
