Happy Holidays! Right. Just what you needed at this time of year. I hope that your case remains on the mild-side and that you recover quickly!

i have a feeling that we will all get covid even if we get vaxxed and boostered. i'm just counting on my vax/boost to keep me out of the hospital and ventilator.

I'm so sorry. Thank goodness for the vaccine. Hopefully you'll have a milder than mild case and are feeling 100% soon.

So sorry you have a breakthrough case. I feel so bad for vaccinated people that get covid. I would have thought if you were vaccinated, you may not lose taste or smell. So frustrating, especially with the holidays and holiday food. I hope you feel better. Like you said, at least it's mild for vaccinated.
My parents got their booster and my dad came down with a very bad cold and cough. He tested negative.
I'm so glad myt 18 yr. old daughter got her booster last week, right at 6 months past 2nd vaccine. I don't want her getting covid for finals.
I hope you feel better soon!

Oh no! I hope your symptoms stay mild.
One of my bffs who is in England caught breakthrough too and she was double vaxxed. Her daughter brought it home from school...
My BFF was really ill but managed at home. She said she was SO thankful she had the vaccine because she was scared of what it would have been like without it!

THATS SO SCARY! I. hope you get well soon.
I’ve had 5 vaccinations. Having #6 in two weeks. My bloodwork shows NO evidence that I’ve ever been vaccinated. I’m terrified to go out in public.

I'm pretty sure I would be on a ventilator now were it not for these vaccines. Instead, it is just like a bad cold and sore throat. Thank you so much to everyone for your kind thoughts. It feels like I just got a pile of get well cards.:-)

Bummer…but glad it’s not too bad. I had 2 tests a week apart over the Thanksgiving holiday. First for a bad sore throat, happy it wasn’t COVID or strep. Then a week later for a dry cough and congestion, also COVID negative. Guess it was just a cold. Hope you recover quickly.

Get the antibody treatment as soon as you can. I got my taste and smell back about a day after the infusion.

How have you gotten 5 going on 6 when there are only 3? Where did you get them? I'm wondering why they aren't showing up in your blood work.

It might not be triggering an immune response for whatever reason. I’ve been vaccinated multiple times for German measles and have no immunity showing on a titer.
