I'm enjoying a Bonne Maman advent calendar but am wondering what to do with the leftover 1 ounce jars? They are so small that I cannot think of anything to put in there (besides craft items which already have organizers). Bonne Maman jarsSorry, don't know how the attachment thingy got on there. There is no attachment to this post. Attachments:

Mini Bonne Maman jars! I have love/hate relationship with all BM jars. We have so many empty jars of all sizes! I've been known to buy a different type/flavor just to get the different colored gingham lid. Problem is I have a hard time parting with them and they end up overtaking the cabinet space. For the 'petit pot', there are ideas on Pinterest. One is to put a hole in the center of the lid, then use it to hold a ball of string/thread. They also put matches in the jar, but they'd have to be short ones. Shot glasses! Votive candle holder.

If you belong to your local Buy Nothing group put them up there. I swear there is NOTHING that someone won't take in these groups. At least in mine....

Can you put them in the dishwasher and then use them for embellishments?

I’ve been enjoying these jams as well - I wish some of these flavors were available retail.
I use the jars for spices and it works out pretty well. At first I was only using them to pack small amounts of spices for camping, but now I use them in my spice drawer. I purchase spices in bulk, and share them with family. These jars are good for the more obscure spices where you only need a little.
I also have a friend who creates her own meal kits when weekly meal planning and pre-measures her spices using those jars.

Those are cute jars.
I would soak and scrub the labels off. I would put a couple wrapped mini chocolates(Hershey mini's or my favorite Milky Way midnight) in them and wrap them with cellophane and a ribbon......and use them for fun, sweet, to brighten someone's day type of mini gifts.
If a co-worker is having a rough day or helped more than usual, leave one on her desk, counter, etc... Hello neighbor! A friend The receptionist at the Doctor office who is always kind, etc...

LOL. This is exactly what I was looking for this week. I made vanilla a year ago and put into little jars this week. Then I scraped out the vanilla pods and put the seeds into a jar. But the smallest that I had was a 2oz jar. I’d probably keep a few for myself and donate the rest.

My first thought was to save seeds in if you are a gardener....

Do you ever pack a lunch? I use 1-oz containers for salad dressing when I pack a salad for lunch.

I have the advent calendar too !
I was thinking of using some of them for essential oils. I don’t whether it will work or not but I saw an idea online where people made aromatherapy pots . They filled jars or small bowls with rock salt crystals or the pink Himalayan salt and then mixed in a blend of oils. Topping the oil up every now and again as the smell faded. I thought the little pots would be ideal for this and using the lid to put back on could mean they can put away for another time / refill.
I have bought a selection of oils - lime, mandarin, sweet orange , lemon and grapefruit and thought about giving it a go to get some citrus blends going. I also bought peppermint and eucalyptus for something refreshing.
I think the little jars will be great for crafting with glitter, embossing powder etc once I get back into crafting again - whenever that happens .
I use the larger jars in the kitchen for sweets but the little ones look so cute !

Apricot Lavender, Fig with Cardamom and Apricot with Bergamot. They have quite a few flavors not available here in the US. I don't expect DH's gift will last 12 days either. I'm giving it until New Year's Eve!

Use for saving makeup when you have a broken palette? That drives me crazy.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE little jars. Those are adorable. I would find various things to do with them in my studio. Oh goodness, now I wish I had that advent "calendar."

I love the ones with the painted black lids with the painted black trinkets on top. Whatever you put in them would look good stored in those cute jars.
