Holy crap, what an entitled bitch. I think the owner should counter sue if it is allowed for the loss revenue.
No way, no how should she get a dime of her money back.

Perhaps the shop owner needs to file a counter suit for remediation costs, as well as loss of business. I'm amazed at what some people will do. This. Holy crap. That's pretty ballsy.

Wow! Sending that letter reflects really badly on the lady who sent it. What nerve! A counter suit would be a great idea, but sadly, the only people who will be making $ off this will be the lawyers.

I thought she was a stupid bitch when she first hit the news. This confirms it.

I thought she was a stupid bitch when she first hit the news. This confirms it. Stupid, entitled, inconsiderate bitch for sure. Unreal. I hope the bridal shop does countersue. Unbelievable.

I still don't understand why this bride thinks she should get a refund of all things. I'm not seeing where it's logical enough for an attorney to get involved.

If she can afford to hire an attorney, surely she could pay for new dresses. Although maybe she got a really good deal from the attorney.

I'm wondering why the NEED for secrecy? She's not the one going there to pick up the dresses. Nor do any fittings.
maybe family worrying? But even if they live locally (and their faces were recognizablr) surely they are not held up in a house all this time.

I bet her fiancé called off the wedding and now she's trying to return all the dresses.

"...not all it it positive." Snort. So most of all the attention WAS positive? Lawyer-speak. I still don't understand why this bride thinks she should get a refund of all things. I'm not seeing where it's logical enough for an attorney to get involved. Exactly! If Bride of Ebola wants a refund, she should ask for one herself. Using her attorney adds a layer of pressure that is really bad form. I hope the owner's refusal conforms with her store's refund policy. Otherwise, they'll just keep pressing this. Harrumph.

Can't believe a lawyer would put his name on such a ridiculous letter.

While I find it sad that a nurse contracted ebola in the line of duty & am thankful that she survived, Ms. Vinson was on paid leave to monitor her symptoms. Her choice to use that time as a vacation for wedding planning put hundreds of people at risk & cost many businesses (e.g bridal shop, airline, TX schools) thousands of dollars for decontamination, lost revenue, etc. She should need an attorney to defend against lawsuits filed by others, not to further jeopardize those same businesses! Sadly, it appears she plans to use the death of Mr. Duncan & her subsequent infection with the virus to gain 15 minutes of fame...

maybe my school district should sue her for the 10s of thousands of dollars in lost funding we had after closing 2 days, all the man hours and chemicals we used to sanitize schools and buses (and YES I KNOW it was all unnecessary, that's not the point of my post)

I am finding all the "hero" monikers being attributed to the medical personal quite comical in light of some of the behavior. Including this.
