Does anyone buy from Club Scrap? I'm not a "follow the directions" kind of scrapper but the papers and embellishments seem pretty nice. I think I can use them to make my own pages.
I thought about buying a few kits and trying them out.

I did years ago - and I still have a few papers and alpha stickers from back then. I remember them being really nice quality and very different from everything else on the market. I always did my own thing with them - I'm not a make a page and then find photos type scrapper.

I also used to subscribe years ago (like 20 years ago) and the paper was such a great quality. I can't speak to the quality now but it was really great back then. I still have a few pieces that I've hoarded over the years.

I have bought some of the collections over the years after taking Tricia's class on a crafting cruise. I find that the papers are more substantial than most brands and there is a wide variety of exceptional designs. Definitely not the same old, same old that you see from some companies. All the papers and embellishments are carefully selected to coordinate. There are plenty of examples and formulas to make the best use of the materials.

I looked at their page and was impressed. I'm definitely not a club guy, but I see you don't have to be a member, and you can buy pieces and parts of their kits. Most I looked at have no interest to me, but the current issue is cool. I will call them on Monday as to the weight and type of their paper. I see really neat envelopes and cards.

They used to be only about red rubber stamps. I still have some CS stamps from early 2000s.

I still have a few pieces that I've hoarded over the years. Me, too. I still have a ton of their cardstock and patterned cardstock, the quality of the paper was always really good. I destashed a bunch of the wood-mounted stamps last year. I’m kind of surprised that they are still around, they were one of the original monthly kit clubs…

I agree with all of the above. I subscribed for many years...the quality at the time was very, very good...it probably still is. I stopped subscribing when the kits became oriented towards card making. I think now they have rearranged things so they can cater to both scrapbookers and card makers, which was a very good idea IMHO. I still have a lot of their items. I hope I live 40 years or more after I retire, LOL, so I can use up all my hoarded scrapbooking supplies. Edited to add: if I were you, OP, I would buy a kit and see if it works for you. They are worth trying out.

Oh I used to love love their paper.. and I am not a real paper snob (saying that in a good way).. but their paper was great and their designs very different from everyone else. I had a friend that worked with them and she gifted me a bunch of their stuff years ago.

I’m surprised they are still around as well. I still have some paper. I would only use it for special occasions.

I called Club Scrap, the Galaxy is pretty much selling out. I begged and was told to check out the videos, so I did ... it only cost me $65.18 to escape.

Got my card kit today. Everything looks great. The HUGE AWESOMENESS though is the heavy duty pizza box it came in! I love to break down, prime & paint, reassemble, and decorate pizza boxes. They make great project containers. The cards may take a while.
