Why don't companies make more pet themed lines? So many people have pets and yet the pet lines are few and far between. I scrap my cats and my family's cats and dogs and I seldom have paper and embellishments I like. Basic Grey had a line, Max and Whiskers, so many years ago and I've used it for so many layouts. I'm getting low and it is making me sad. It was a perfect- not overly cutesy, pretty colors, no "pink for cats, blue for dogs" nonsense. It was adult looking with just the right amount of cute. I am so over pink cat papers, too. I have a black cat and a tuxedo cat. Both are 14 year old, very adult cats. Nothing cutesy about them. I want cat paper with dignity. Everything I'm finding lately has been either way too cutesy, or Graphic 45 style. Neither of those are my aesthetic. I don't think companies are making enough baby lines, either. My nephews are now teenagers but I still have a ton of baby and toddler pages to scrap. Speaking of teenagers, teen lines used to be rare but that has greatly improved in the past two years. As mentioned in my other thread, companies are putting out Valentine's lines every year and St. Patrick's Day lines every year and those are basically one day holidays. How much of that does anyone need? It just seems to me that baby and pet lines would be better sellers.

I have 3 German Shepherds that live on 40 acres. We don't have fire hydrants or leases. Or doghouses. They live in a really nice doghouse with AC/heat and running water.

I think I mentioned this on another thread a while ago...... you need to change to digital scrapping, and you will be spoiled for choice!! Sooooooo many dog and/or cat related kits.

I feel your pain! I really like Playful Pets by DCWV. Fun bright colors and even different types of pets besides cats and dogs. I also found a dog kit at HL that isn’t cutesy.

I am a huge fan of the cutesy themed items so I am not mad at that for scrapbooking my doggo but I do agree that it can be really frustrating when you can't get products that match your style. For a few years there the only pet lines I could find were either jewel toned, grungy and cream based or some combination of all the above which is not my thing at all. I am looking into a large format printer so if I ever come across that issue again I can just print digital papers. @breetheflea I used to use a lot of grass and carrot paper from Easter lines for my girls.

I'm using regular lines for my dogs. Shimelle's Sparkle City is my go to basic. I also bought Cocoa Vanilla Legendary for the older boy dog. My girl dog I have not picked a collection for her. I also have not picked a collection for our two new cats (both boys, both tuxedo). The pet themed papers are too limiting in my opinion, especially since they feature dogs that look nothing like my dogs. I have two huskies so winter lines in blues/grays/greens work great.

We were considering doing some pet themed products but i wasn't sure there was enough call for it. hmmm maybe we will have to rethink it now!
