2 - Physical pictures. Half my life is pre-digital, plus DH's photos. I have boxes and boxes and boxes of photos that I don't have space to store. I really need to get a handle on this. I also have all the photos from my mother that she passed to me. I need to also go through those, sadly, I don't know who everyone is in this photos. I have this issue too. I inherited all of the family photos and genealogy documents this year because i lost my mom and granddad. I have NO IDEA where to store it all!!! |

Here is one of my little storage spots: That's a fun little cabinet.
I moved back into a very small room last year to give my uncle a room in our house. So space is a premium and I've been purging, which really was needed. But I still struggle with storage that is accessible without having to move things to get to other things. This is a major mojo killer for me. I have this issue too. I really need to put my current projects in one area and concentrate on doing my family album for a week or two and then moving to a different project. I'm all over the place, get frustrated remembering where I stopped, what I need to finish, forgetting what photos I need to order, get overwhelmed, and I stop scrapping.
My living room is where I store scrap stuff, but actual scrapping is at the kitchen table, card table, or a fold out six foot table (currently being used in another room for something else).
I feel like I have dies, stamps, and flat embellishment organization figured out. It isn't streamlined quite yet, but it's all in one area. I can quickly find what I need.

My old room was so organized. Now I am in a larger space and have a lot more storage. Many of my storage containers are no longer needed and I am trying to figure out what will work the best in the new space. We finally put in track lighting the other day so I can be in there after three pm.
Need to finish wrapping Christmas gifts, and then I can start organizing.

FYI, over on Scrapbook.com, there is an organization class (free at the moment) by Jill Davis. Didn't see whether it's been mentioned here already. It's been around for awhile. Have any of you tried it? What did you think of it? link to class on Scrapbook.com |

I am tossing around doing some kind of 'get your crap cleaned out' boot camp in the new year. Anyone interested? Maybe focusing on one area a week (or two weeks?) and cleaning out and organizing. If anyone is interested I will post on the regular SB board. If not and its just me, I will still do it and just keep it to myself. LOL sounds like an awesome plan - count me in ME TOO!!! My space is teeny right now, but we're either doing a "she shed" or building a new house in 2022, so I'm gonna need to clean/purge the space I'm in now to prep for the big move! |
