Is anyone participating in this, or have you done a Victoria Maria crop? I think it sounds fun, but I am confused about the Facebook/Zoom thing...I got all excited because it said the crops were via Zoom, but then it sounds like you join a private Facebook group? I am not on Facebook, have zero interest in getting an account, so I am wondering if I can still participate. I will email and ask too, but thought I would check in here to see if anyone had done her crops before. At 7.99 a crop that is not bad, could be really fun, depending on how many people attend. If there's a Zoom crop with 100 people, (not sure if that is even possible) I don't see how that works. Here is the info I was sent. victoriamarieblog.com/online-virtual-crops/

I have done the online crops with her before, all her challenges and stuff are on the Facebook private group so you'd have to have an account to view it. She does a few Zoom calls throughout the crop weekend, they're usually an hour or two, but I never seem to be able to make them due to time zone differences.

I participated in the Broadway themed crop, but was disappointed in the experience that I didn't even bother to show up for the Zoom crops - I ejected from the entire weekend. This was when her group was hosted on the Mighty Network platform. Victoria was unavailable on the first night (Friday) due to a real life commitment (a concert, maybe?), so no Zoom crop. She posted a couple questions the first night for people to answer, but no engagement otherwise.
I was unimpressed by the content provided. I didn't think the challenges were very well thought out or imaginative, specifically in regards to the non-themed alternate challenges. The alternate challenges were so specific/literal that I felt it could easily have people feeling excluded if they weren't big into "entertainment" for that particular crop. And this is coming from someone who is a big Broadway/musical fan. I think the themes suggested for 2022 are much more inclusive and will allow for greater participation, so that is an improvement in my eyes.
My guess is any interaction as far as the challenges posted, giveaways and other content will be supplied in the private FB group. Only the crop will be hosted on Zoom, similar to how it was done when she was on Mighty Networks. I assume the link to the Zoom crop will be posted in the private FB group. I don't recall if the Zoom link was also sent in an email.
I only use FB for crafty things such as this (I have no FB friends other than my wife and my crafty BFF). You could use fake information (set up a new Gmail, etc) if you were concerned about privacy. The price is $9.99/crop unless you were paying for the entire year in advance, then it works out to $7.99/crop.
I like Victoria. I think she is a warm and genuine person and I enjoy her IG feed. I just don't think her online crops are for me. I would prefer an open Zoom for each crop day (or at the very least on the Saturday), coupled with whatever challenges she posts throughout the event. To me, that might be worth the fee she's charging.

I haven't heard back yet, but based on what I am reading here and what other info I've been able to find, I don't think these are for me. I was thinking it was a all day/evening open link, so a participant could pop in and out when they are able, but it looks like that isn't the case. I guess I was thinking very literally as a in person crop just translated into an online crop, and then for challenges, prizes, encouragement, etc...whomever was "leading" the crop would come into the Zoom meeting. The 2 hr window is what I would consider the "crop", so that is pretty short. Two hours barely has me set up and ready to go.

It wasn't like that for the past crops, not sure if she'll change that with future crops. And that has been my issue with most zoom crops or classes, most of them are held either at 7 or 8 am my time (PST) or during dinner time and I just can't make those.
