I'm thinking of making an upside-down pear gingerbread cake link to my friend's house for Christmas Eve.

It'll probably be the Christmas candies & cookies DD and I are making this week, and a no-bake cheesecake that DBF wants.

I have made a traditional plum pudding, which is hanging to mature. It will be served with vast quantities of brandy custard.

The Pioneer Woman's chocolate cream pie. DH gets pumpkin for Thanksgiving and I'm treating myself to my favorite for Christmas.

Eclair Cupcake for Christmas Eve and a homemade Fudgy Rocky Road Ice Cream Cake for Christmas Day.
For both days and the week leading up to Christmas, there will be lots of homemade cookies and treats each day.

We usually do a Yule log. So yummy. I'm not baking this year, so it will probably be the fortune cookies with our takeout Chinese food.

I am making blueberry crisp because that is what my family likes and it is easy. The kids always ask for it. I like chocolate cake they bring better (obviously) and don’t “care for” blueberries at all. (Yuck!) so it’s good for my weight control.

We are joining family for Christmas dinner and have been tasked with bringing dessert. We will make creme brûlée, chocolate tarts and individual trifles. It will be a large dinner, hence the multiple desserts all in individual portions.

Thinking of picking up some suet and amaretto to make a plum pudding this year. I have always steamed mine during the day, Christmas Day, and I am nostalgic for that aroma this year.

I won't be making anything this year, but I am really missing my dad's chocolate-covered cream puffs. Mom was always the dessert baker in our house while Dad stuck to making savory dishes. Then for some reason, Dad decided to make these incredible cream puffs one year. They were a huge hit and were demanded every year thereafter. Even my own son, who was never a sweet eater, would start craving them in the weeks before Christmas. and would call Dad to make sure he was making some. There was usually a side table filled with multiple dessert choices and the only one on my son's plate would be Grandpa's cream puffs. I sure hope I have that recipe from him. I would love to surprise my son with them next year.

We've been doing chocolate fondue, on Christmas Eve, for about 15 years. I buy every kind of fresh fruit I can find. Also, pretzels and graham crackers. We all love it. Especially the kids!!

My traditional Christmas dessert is Lemon Meringue Pie. I've been making it for Christmas lunch for decades. We had Christmas lunch with my dad's side of the family on Sunday, and that's what I made. On Christmas Day at my SIL's house I have been asked to make a pavlova (specifically, a Turkish delight pavlova). We will make creme brûlée, chocolate tarts and individual trifles. It will be a large dinner, hence the multiple desserts all in individual portions. YUM! I will be making creme brûlée on Boxing Day with the leftover egg yolks from the Christmas pavlova. Just trying to decide whether to make Turkish Delight or Passionfruit creme brûlée.

For the past several years my family has requested creme brulee for Christmas dessert so that's what I've made. I kind of want to change it up this year and try something new, but I'm not sure what yet. Our annual cookie/candy making day is this Saturday at my house so I'll ask everyone to see if they have any ideas. We may end up with creme brulee again, which isn't the worst thing ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

We usually have mini cheesecakes. Cheesecake over nilla wafer in a cupcake liner. You can top with cherry or blueberry pie filling.

Two types of ice cream pie in Oreo cookie crusts -- mint chocolate chip and peppermint stick. We drizzle the mint pie with creme de menthe and top the peppermint pie with Hershey's drizzle and candy cane bits. So pretty and our family loves this tradition.

I am going untraditional this year.
I am making a Coca-Cola cake (pronounced in your best southern accent as Co-cola).
DS requested it and since he usually doesn't like many desserts he many times just skips dessert.
We will have it after our big Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve.
Then on Christmas day we have a picnic with all of the leftovers and appetizers (ham or Italian beef, cheese balls, seafood dip etc) and I always put together a tray with all of the sweets (cookies and candies) I have made and then we graze all afternoon.
